The NCAA Sucks There is no excuse for this either yes or no. I wish school;s had another option beside the NCAA Look at the PGA tour KARMA
As much as I want to believe the 2nd part of your statement, I doubt NCAA is going to treat us specially because we did well while we were getting in trouble. Seems like not breaking the rules in the first place would give us the best chance of success pushing something like this through.Word is, that DW is on this big time. Plus, the way we worked with the NCAA during the investigation is going to help us. Especially since we did things the right way.

Relationships play a big part with the NCAA. Just ask Little Nicky and Emmert. As much as I want to believe the 2nd part of your statement, I doubt NCAA is going to treat us specially because we did well while we were getting in trouble. I disagree - we've seen plenty of inconsistencies in how NCAA has treated various schools. We now have - maybe the perfect A.D. for these times (vs say, Dickey back in the day when things were different with NCAA). I can't overstate how much better I feel with who is running things within UTAD..., & admin too for that matter. As much as I want to believe the 2nd part of your statement, I doubt NCAA is going to treat us specially because we did well while we were getting in trouble. We did well AFTER we got in trouble, not while we were getting in trouble. Enormous distinction. As much as I want to believe the 2nd part of your statement, I doubt NCAA is going to treat us specially because we did well while we were getting in trouble. True.nobody on our staff had anything to do with that stuff though
True. DW is the man.Relationships play a big part with the NCAA. Just ask Little Nicky and Emmert.
Their inconsistencies could work against us too. They're complete wildcards.I disagree - we've seen plenty of inconsistencies in how NCAA has treated various schools. We got in trouble to start with. That's the problem. Just because we did a good job rectifying the problem doesn't mean that we aren't on notice in general or that we'll get any special treatment after. We did well AFTER we got in trouble, not while we were getting in trouble. Enormous distinction.
KAlso seems like not hiring Pruitt would have been nice. Or Butch. Or Dooley. Or hiring Cut instead. Or just keeping Kippy as interim. Or not giving Lane a dumb contract. Or not hiring him in the first place. Or even not firing Fulmer. But since we don’t have a time machine, I’ll stick with doing the right thing during the investigation was the best option for the future. But I don’t have a crystal ball either.
Also, we were in trouble until they decided not to punish us. You don't get out of trouble just because you try to make it right. You get in trouble after your parent (or governing authority/whatever) accepts that.As much as I want to believe the 2nd part of your statement, I doubt NCAA is going to treat us specially because we did well while we were getting in trouble. DW is the man. But; more importantly UT needs to assert itself, be proactive to protect its players and staff from that dipshit Andy. Dude is unstable.True.

You have to remember, this is a new AD and new coaching staff and new administration. This is what I’ve been told so take it for what’s it’s worth. DW is all over this and working hard. Plus, DW has forged some good relationships and also good will with the NCAA that, in the opinion of my source, is and will help us in this case.As much as I want to believe the 2nd part of your statement, I doubt NCAA is going to treat us specially because we did well while we were getting in trouble.
