After having previously visited Utah and Washington, To'oto'o trekked down to Knoxville to visit Tennessee. "It was a good visit," said To'oto'o. "We sat down and I was able to talk ball with Coach (Jeremy) Pruitt, and sit down with him and talk. I had seen him on my unofficial, but to be able to hear from him and how he’s doing with the program was important."
To'oto'o also saw a familiar face there in player development director
Kevin Simon, a former De La Salle legend. "Having
Kevin Simon there, him just telling me the truth and how things are and how things are changing under Coach Pruitt was a big deal," said To'oto'o. To'oto'o said he also spent time with his primary area recruiter,
Brian Niedermeyer. "I like Coach Niedermeyer a lot because he's a good guy and really easy to talk to," said To'oto'o. Next up for To'oto'o after Hawaii is the trip to Alabama.
"I think that's my last visit and I'm looking forward to that trip and meeting with Coach (Nick) Saban and Coach (Tosh) Lupoi," said To'oto'o. "Coach Tosh has been great and he's another De La Salle guy so I know him and trust him." To'oto'o said he's got a pretty set top three with Utah right on the cusp. "My main top three are Alabama, Tennessee and Washington," said To'oto'o. "And Utah, they hit home too and I'm still considering them a lot too. My uncle played there and that's home for me."
Next week, Saban and Pruitt will both be coming by to see To'oto'o and
Chris Petersen is expected at some point in the next two weeks. "I know Coach Niedermeyer is coming with Coach Pruitt and Coach Tosh and Coach (Pete) Golding are coming with Coach Saban," said To'oto'o. "And then Washington, we'll see when that happens."
