i wanna believe. was listening to Mansell's radio show tonight on the way to the hotel from the office, and for a GA show, it was pretty funny considering all they were getting was questions from TN fans...VFL's in ATL are feeling it...they even said "Tennessee is winning twitter for our show tonight Dawg fans" lol.

but one of the questions about HT, and Mansell said of the big 2 we're going after in Wright and HT, he definitely thinks Wright is the most likely. whoever his partner in crime (whoever he was?) was said the same and added that he thinks we're a bit more of a long shot for HT than many think.

anyway. i'll definitely be watching on NSD. hoping. getting HT would be huge.

Junkyard247 have some of the biggest homers in the network, including Rusty. They blow so fluff up those guys rear that it guarantee to make the meltdown epic every single time

They did keep Trey Smith #1 even after he committed to us tho they changed their tune from him being a pro level OT to OG. Always smelled a rat because you don’t put an OG as your top overall player.

Price was waaaaay more optimistic on HT this morning on Swain....kinda caught me off guard. said if he had to pick a leader, he'd pick TN. said he really bought in to the pitch that there's a difference in coaching before/after Pruitt at Bama, and that there is actually better coaching opportunity at TN than there is at Bama, and that you just have no idea if Tosh is going to be there, even if he stays this year....how much longer is he?

painted a pretty rosy picture. i really want to believe it. would really just like HT to cancel the Bama visit all together and Tosh to accept the Cleveland job. and let's go.

I'm still not sure why it matters at this point whether a site drops or raises the rankings of these elite recruits. Morris, Wright, etc. are still the same players whether they are the #1 or the #4 OL. Some people act like if they drop 6 or 7 slots then that drop has somehow been placed inside their bodies.

There's no doubt that we have better position coaches at TN right now. Pruitt is far superior to Lupoi also. Hope Henry chooses us.

It's kinda nice to be able to negative recruit against bama. Been a while since we've had even somewhat legitimate negative recruiting ammo against them. haha

Because the recruits from the next class and next are watching who has momentum. The publicity on signing day makes a difference.

One reason I never bought a crotch rocket.. Not afraid of crashing, just can't afford the trouble I would stay in..

Yeah, I was listening and it caught me off guard too. I think Pruitt and staff showing him video of Mack Wilson when Pruitt was there then him this year is just a baller move, though. Nothing Saban can do about that. Film don't lie.

i think it probably had a powerful message.

i'd feel a lot better about it had we made that pitch AFTER he went to bama. not before, and definitely not now that everyone knows what that pitch was. i'm sure Bama willl have an appropriate response..........

No recruit says "I had UT really high on my list but then their class rankings on rivals dropped from 11 to 14 because some of their recruits went down in the final rankings so now I am not considering them." Now if you are finishing outside the top 20 in recruiting you will probably start to see some impact when trying to recruit the top flight prospects.

They want to go where the best recruits are going. I've heard others call it "gaining momentum ". They do listen to what reporters are reporting. Of course it's not everything, but it can help decide who gets in a top 5, etc.
