'19 CA LB Henry To'oto'o (Tennessee Signee)

I wonder if To'oto'o is affiliated with the LDS as many of the American-Samoans are.

After we land this kid, I would rather not lose him for 2 years to the mission field like we did with J.T. Mapu years ago. But, if that be the case, then so be it.

Quite a con they pulled off if so

He’d have BYU in the running if he was. Mormon kids usually don’t stray far.

no. Bituli and taylor have 2 spots. very likely DKjr is starting. i expect them all to see the field with ignont as well though

DK looked really slow last year. Bituli took a step back. Both are gling to have to step it up. Ever since the VT game, DK hasnt looked the same.

Remember Tennessee has a coach that took

Alonte taylor
Crouch
JJ Peterson
Eric Gray
Keyton
Wanna Morris

All those guys could play for ANYONE THEY WANTED. So him visiting Bama, whatever it’s what the best do.

We have a guy bulding something really special. With CONFIDENCE join him in that confidence of what is going on.
Damn... I wish all Vol fans could actually see this and realize we got someone very special. I believe It’s a bigger home run for us then Gruden would’ve been. I believe we have a top 2 coach in CFB.

A little off topic from Polynesia, but there was an article about GA Tech recruiting Europe. They are recruiting a QB and a DT from Germany and a DB fromcEngland, and they already signed a kid from Belgium. Collins signed two OL from Sweden when he was at Temple this year and had another commitment for this year.. A recruiting service said if they rated foreign kids the DT would be a high 4*.
VFL, Constatin "The Germanator" Ritzman may be the greatest German college football player ever. At least, the best one I know of

Can’t say that about any coach while Saban and Dabo are doing what they are doing. Ready to make our climb back up to the top though with Pruitt

I know we're starting to read into the tea leaves now, but familial relationships are very important within the Polynesian culture. Take care of Henry T and his family. Those are the kinds of things the Poly kids remember and will talk about.

I'm feeling really good that Neids and Kevin Simon will close and win this one for the Vols.
Fulmer created a similar family atmosphere. It makes sense now why he got so many of the somoan / Polynesian recruits to come out East.

Must be feeling like home up on The Hill again. Its nice.

Until they quit the church. Lots of people ultimately figure out that LDS is a sham. Usually doesnt happen until closer to 30 though.
I know a girl whose parents put her on trial at the church for having sex with her boyfriend. The result was that she was excommunicated. I'm a firm believer in the parents raising their own kids. It does not take a community.

I think if the staff had to choose between the 2 they would pick Robinson. If they're able to sign To'oto'o to go along with Crouch and possibly even a blueshirted Harris at LB for the 2020 season along with any studs they may have in 2020s class I don't think they would take Russell who is likely a depth guy at best over someone like Robinson that could really make a difference in the defensive backfield

I disagree. I don’t think they view Russell as a depth guy. Also, we only signed one linebacker last year. This year we only have one in the fold. We signed 4 DB’s last year and we have 4-5 this year already. LB is much more of a need

Harrison is an OLB. So two lbs this cycle so far. And could see Beasley moved maybe? Harris is a safety all day.

If it is wright and HT... That last spot should go to another Lb, Russell, or DL, Cox or that juco that's visiting this weekend.

All that said, id take Pickens if we could. But he's the only offensive player I'd take at this point.

I just don't see Russell being a game changer in the SEC. He's playing against average competition and he should dominate the competition he plays against. He looks out of place on a lot of plays and doesn't seem to have a nose for the ball though and that's concerning. Robinson on the other hand looks like he could be a great nickel or safety and I think Harris is capable of playing LB if he can put on some good weight during his blueshirt year. Russell likely won't see significant PT until 2020 at least and by then they could have a few freshman or JUCO guys capable of playing over him. I'm not saying Russell won't be a good player, but I think our last slot should go to the guy with the most upside and more likely to make an immediate impact

If VQ is right the coaches see Russell as that guy

I’m hoping Beasley ends up at ILB...I know his films shows a headhunter at safety but that’s at the HS level...I’ve seen too many big safeties coming out of HS just not have the speed to play there in the SEC...if he is already 215-220 then he’s pretty close to ideal ILB size...he could be awesome at that spot IMO

I thought he was closer to 230. I'm still hoping he plays rb.
