Yeah, Martinez was my favorite of the 3, also. But, I think Shrout has a NFL arm, but so did Bray.

Impossible to tell right now who that is, but Will McBride really looked comfortable in his limited time. JG needs to put on some weight and calm down. QD needs to not be in a feaux read option offense.

This kid will be a project point blank high ceiling though if Helton can get him squared away. Now the question is where does he sign? I don’t boom until the name is on the dotted line.

I think all 3 will do much better in Helton's offense if Friend and Helton can get the Oline straightened out. The QBs just need an actual QB coach which they will get. I really think we'll see much better QB play next year.

He had the look of just being a baller. Didn't look scared of getting hit or throwing the 50/50 ball. Reminded me of a less talented Fromm. Just a straight up football player. If JG can get over the nerves and QD can stop staring down receivers they'll be much better than what we saw this season.

Shrout would have been perfect for Butch's offense. Judging by his hudl film his Oline sucks too. Almost every highlight, he's either scrambling or standing in the pocket, releasing quickly, and taking a hit.

No he didn’t, imo. Even while playing Missouri’s defense which was actually worse than ours last year.

People got excited because he ran through a gaping hole untouched for 40 yards on a defensive bust....and because he threw a ball up for grabs to a wide open receiver before a DT hit him hard. That’s it. We lost 50-16 vs the 90th ranked defense in the nation with him as qb and people were saying he’s the answer at qb for the future. He was 16-32 for 139 yards, 1 td, 2 interceptions with a 50 quarterback rating and people think he’s the guy. Lol. And that was after playing the second half vs So Miss and going 1-8 for 13 yards. Again, lol.

At no point in time was he as good as QD and certainly not JG. The kid showed he had a little moxie and that he wouldn’t completely pee down his leg when he got in the game, and that’s about it. If we have a healthy qb room and he’s ever higher than 3rd string, we’re in big, big trouble.

QD gives us the best chance to win (GT game, anyone?). Period. As for Shrout, his success seemed to hinge on WRs who totally outmatched opposing defenses. His tape on hudl, while flashy at times, shows his playmakers streaking all over the field with a 10'+ radius from defenders on most receptions.

What from his play last year tells you that? QD led the conference in turnovers before he got hurt and even worse with red zone turnovers. So no he does not. He didn't win the Game Tech Game for us it was Marquez bailing him out several times and Ga Tech giving it away to us not QD

Ok, while you piss your pants over JG (Lady Liberty marveled at his ability to become statue-esque after the ball was snapped), I will sit back and let you see how it plays out come opening weekend. To discount what occurred in the GT game just shows you have an agenda. Also, if you recall, QD was reportedly injured for a few weeks before going out for good. Not to mention, the playbook was radically different after the FL game.
