He's one of the few cases where he always seemed taller than his listed height.

I got a picture of me standing with Peyton behind the bar th O'Sullivan's on Beal St. in '97, the summer of before his sr season. He, Eli, Archie, Olivia and girlfriends came in a couple of times, and this time the owner, Silky, got Eli and Peyton to get in stage with the dueling pianists and sing. They were definitely not singers, but both way better than me.

Anyway, Silky told Archie that I was a diehard UT fan, and Peyton came back behind the bar and got his picture taken with me and another bartender who was a UT fan.

Picture hangs in my den. I also met Archie during his sr season at Ole Miss. But didn't get a picture with him, as I met him the evening after the Rebels best 2nd-ranked UT 38-0 in Jackson, MS. But no one had cell phone with cameras built in those days anyway.
