Footwork is much more difficult for a guy that size let's not mention how good of an arm he has tho bc it's way better than anyone else in that video.

Right? Lol and who knows what rep that was as far as footwork goes, everyone has an off day or a bad rep.

Kid has a cannon and it was pinpoint even with whatever miramar calls crappy footwork.

Yes the evaluators ragged on Peytons footwork..big games equaled happy feet..of course there were the SEC championship games UT won with Peyton at QB

Then there is all those analyst who would have picked Ryan Leaf over Peyton..Then there were all those Indy fans who felt sick to their stomach as they watched his rookie season...Then the pain on Archie's face as he hid his face in a newspaper while watching his son's rookie performance..

BUT WHERE DOES HE STAND TODAY BABY !!!!!
NO ONE OUT WORKED THE GUY

Or Pruitt and Helton start him against a cupcake to get reps as the lead QB while resting 1st and 2nd string. Fewer hits on top 2 pay dividends through the season.

With the new version of the redshirt rule, this could easily be the scenario that we see. :hi:

The truth is..is that these are for the most part kids just out of high school...there is a huge difference between the pool of competition in high school and college..

Some 4 and 5 star players are not the same as the competition equals out...
So much then depends on the team the individual is surrounded with and the coaches...
Then its up to the players individual desire and drive to improve regardless the obstacles and critics..

There are many things the recruited players have no control over BUT the things that are in their control are the things they need to excel in....

Some players catch on earlier than others...some teams need coaches who can put the pieces of the team together every year in recruiting and redshirts as well. Otherwise as we have seen the team suffers, the players suffer, and the fans suffer from the things we don't have control over.....
