Indeed. If he continues to work hard then he may be too good to ignore during fall camp...It could happen if he shows game smarts to go along with the strong arm...
Chryst is insurance against injury and none of the others having improved...
JG I just don't know to be honest...

Even in that scenario, I doubt he would start. Should definitely see some playing time tho.

Yeah I don’t think we can afford to let our starter (whoever it is) miss a chance at using those early cupcake games as opportunities to find their groove improve their grip on the new offensive system.

If they execute and we pull away, sure give McBride and/or Shrout a chance to take some snaps late in the game. But ETSU and UTEP are gonna be important games for making sure our offense is gelling in time for UF.

I think ETSU will be solely for Chryst or JG to pull away as starter. I just don't see McBride or Shrout playing that game but you never know. UTEP and Charlotte are the ones I expect either of those to play

I think it will probably come down to who starts against WVU and how well they do in that game. If Chryst or JG seems to have a solid hold on things, I think we see get to see the 3rd string against ETSU because they’re easily the weakest opponent we’ll face all year and we should be able to pull away easily.


If the starter doesn’t inspire confidence against WVU, I think you’re probably right.

WVU is such a question mark I don't think the starter will inspire confidence but I hope I am wrong and the starter begins a Heisman campaign
