‘23 CA QB Nicholaus Iamaleava (Tennessee)

But has every other blue blood been through what we have? I know you used Saban but let’s be honest, he is a complete anomaly. I think we would need 4 straight too 5 classes. I think at that point we would have enough.

I mean look at who we are up against. Bama and UGA. They are gonna be higher than us every year in recruiting. So say we have 4 straight classes ranked #5. That means Bama and UGA will have top 1-3 classes in those years.

I just don’t think you realize how far we have actually fallen.
I do. I also realize that Bama fans were saying the same thing in their decade of irrelevancy in the early 2000's until Saban. LSU went from 7-5 to national champions over Saban. Hell Gene Chizik won a championship. I'm sorry it's college football and a qb can win a championship like those teams... LSU had a middle of the pack defense that year. It's not the NFL.

Yeah...Theres at least 3 programs right now that are way ahead of us from a talent perspective.

So recruiting 2-4 classes at the same level as those programs just gets is even with those programs.

I think it's important to remember that here.

Which is why I think it's ludacris to start the expectations talk before we've signed one lol
If we are even after 3 classes that means it's a coin flip talent wise across the field... soo expecting a 5* 8million dollar qb to win a game is Ludacris? Lol you're a goof 🤣

That’s not how it works. You are not factoring in many other positions on the team. Let’s assume we can buy an OL. That’s great. Can we buy the WRa, TEs, RBs, DL, LBs and DBs to win it all? The answer to that is no. At least not in 3-4 years.

I do think with Nico and some other really elite pieces, we could contend for the East and possibly win it. But remember, Smart isn’t going anywhere. And he likely will be getting 5*s all over the field as well.

So realistically what’s your expectations for Nico here? Say he stays 3 years. What’s your expectations?
If you get close on the talent level to ole Kirb you might beat him with the coaching at that point

When and if we get there...then we can talk lol.

Apparently you're upset because I have expectations of an 8 milli qb lol.
Not really . I just think it's stupid take given that he's not committed not signed and we aren't closer to having a roster capable of winning a title.

But whatever...you can go ahead and put your deposit down on being mad about not meeting expectations sometime in the next 5 years....maybe.

We can have a roster ready to win next year with 25 million, heupel is probably one of the most sound xs and os guy in the country

Well since I'm saying if he signed and we pay him 8 million I have expectations that's fair. I'd say if we paid any player 8 million and a championship wasn't reached that's a failure.. but sure, you can say whatever but so help me if we sign the kid and for said amount and you start dogging him and saying "we're paying 8 million for this" I'm going to burn your ass like you were in Salem.

OK

I suppose NIL will pan out like NFL money. QB makes the most and should. Pass rushers and OT will be valuable. Only difference is there’s no cap on NIL. Going to get crazy.
