‘23 CA QB Nicholaus Iamaleava (Tennessee)

Absolutely. Smaller schools without the money going to get left.
I'm mainly concerned with the fact the common fan can contribute through the 19.50 club... no longer is it just old money. Now schools old boosters are competing against thousands of "boosters"

LSU didn’t have 5 straight years of top 5. Elite QB along with some elite skill players and pass rushers can get you there. We will always be better on offense than UGA

Very good points. However LSU never fell to the depths we have. In 2015 they ranked #5, 2016 #2, 2017 #7, 2018 #15. So before Burrow blew up in 2019, they had stacked some elite talent.

My biggest point is even if we can get there we aren’t going to out talent UGA and Bama. So even with Nico and some other elite skill players around, do you think we can get over the hump with them? And do you expect us to?

Yeah...Theres at least 3 programs right now that are way ahead of us from a talent perspective.

So recruiting 2-4 classes at the same level as those programs just gets is even with those programs.

I think it's important to remember that here.

Which is why I think it's ludacris to start the expectations talk before we've signed one lol

That’s my point. I firmly believe Nico signs with us and will bring other elite skill players. But I just don’t see how we leap frog the big 2.

He’s the John Calipari of college football.
Nah calipari can get more out of his players then Kirby. Georgia got lucky this year. They won’t win another one for another 10+ years. I mean even a blind hog can find an acorn in a pile of 💩 every once in a while.

They both are glorified recruiters.

You really think Kentucky is all that happy to lose to Barnes once if not twice a year knowing another top class is coming in?

Calipari can at least bring a final 4 or natty to Lexington every once in a while. Kirby just hit lightning in a bottle and got some dumb luck and the best players money can buy minus their qb.

Kirby won with Alabama playing their 3rd string wr corps lol... it's idiotic to proclaim elite beating a 3 legged horse with a thoroughbred
