They can't offer anything he has signed an NIL agreement with Spyre. Meaning they pay him to work with their clients. Sure he could decommit but 350k would be all he earned. If you actually watched his commitment video, its the best I have ever seen. He was sincere in making it about those that have helped him get to the level he is. FAMILY. He chose Tennessee because of those connections and feelings of Family.

I am excited about this commit but I worry about where this NIL stuff is headed across college football. You can't provide top deals to all the top prospects. It will surprise some of you when guys start looking at who got what and it influences their decisions. On the surface a commit like this would've had us on the top of the board of the top WR, and it still may but if they expect deals in this ball park then possibly not.

I think it’ll shake out like an NFL team does with cap space. QB, LT, pass rushers make the money. Maybe spend extra for an elite DT. WR and RB will make theirs, but they’re so many options there. But definitely worth spending the money on a QB.

Nico is gonna be the first Domino of many. Can you imagine how good our offense is gonna be? We are gonna score at will. Holy S**t what a difference a year makes. Heup has been worth every penny. I can't believe how quickly things have turned around for the better. I am floating over here. Nation we are FINALLY coming out of the wilderness.

Danny White needs a lifetime contract. He pulled us out of the pit. if we keep rolling like this can you imagine what we are going to look like in a couple years. We will be be the biggest threat to UGA for the East. We have deep pockets and Nico's NIL deal proves we can compete with ANYONE.

The NIL makes it a new ballgame. We better get used to this. I think top 5 classes will be the new norm on Rocky Top

I love Heupel but the lion's share of the credit for this one has got to go to Spyre and the Tennessee fanbase, who stepped up big time with $ 19.51. It wouldn't have worked if we looked like @$$ last year, but we just fired an 8 million dollar shot across everyone's bow thanks to boosters and fans and none of our rivals could do a damn thing about it.

If Nico didn't love Heupel and Halzle, $80 million and 10 Vol Nations wouldn't have mattered. Lion's share to the man in charge, dude.

However, I do agree, we definitely fired a massive shot at the rest of college football, letting them know we have woken up.
