‘23 CA QB Nicholaus Iamaleava (Tennessee)

I am just laughing at all the grown men on social media complaining about how “NIL” is bad for the game now that you can legally buy a player.

Is it actually bad for the game? Let’s be real, if NIL didn’t come around he was probably going to Georgia or Alabama. You’re telling me it’s “good for the game” if he goes to the Tide or the Dawgs like every 5-Star recruit has the past decade?

Lmao. Yeah. Okay.

Boom!, and I proud that no one so far came on here hopped up on BVS biting their nails. Worried he's not going to pan out because he is from Cali and also plays Volleyball just because Woody Quinn.
No. It's Guarantano flashbacks in the FF thread. Sad how much joy a bit of scar tissue can rob.

I may be speaking too soon, but I think this is really the thing we needed to catch back up. Money talks. And AD Danny white was smart enough to capitalize on this and get spyre on board. I don’t feel any guilt whatsoever by influencing a recruits decision with money, because that has been going on for decades. We have the resources to compete with just about anyone with NIL deals. This looks like the break we’ve needed

Reading all these posts…
I thought i would share.
The NCAA will not be getting involved in any NIL deals between players, and any business…
This has been a point of discussion since last year with coaches, agents, and AD’s behind the scenes.
NCAA would get slaughtered in open court, and it would eventually be a death nail to them, and could lead into revenue sharing with players..
NCAA has no power to get personal NIL deals with a person and a business…
Most universities are sick of the legal fee’s that have been wasted in the past 10 years fighting against it as well.
Lets put it like this…
I could make an argument that Nico is worth 20 million a year easily if he makes the playoffs with this fanbase.
How can you prove he isn’t?
Gary Parrish has been talking about this openly for over a year now…
Tennessee needs to put more steam on, and get everyone it wants.
There will eventually be some effort to implement a cap or something. Not saying it will succeed but we could see a day when some guys take a pay cut when they go to the NFL.

If we get Tate, Kasper, and Hyatt in this class to go along with Webb, Nimrod, Squirrel, and Miller, we could have a special wr room.

Pick up another back to compliment Williams, another top tier TE and things are gonna get real in a hurry.

We picked up some very good DL last class with West and Joseph's.

Pruitt may have been the "elite" recruiter, but IMO Heupel is making the most of his opportunity and resources at his disposal.

Think about it. We heard for months how TN was way behind in NIL. Even our trolls such as DE1 laughed at us.

I feel they went about this the right way. They built the foundation. They took their time and made sure they were ready to back up their offers. They didn't just go throwing money around. They couldn't afford to with the Pruitt mess still so fresh in everyone's mind.

For the first time in a long time I feel we have some competent leaders who are committed to winning and actually know how to plan and execute that plan.

Things are looking up folks.
He is too busy trying to explain to the KY crew how he had no ideal that Tn NIL was going to roll like this. You can bet they was ringing his phone today and you know he was not answering. Just further proves he is a joke and he made his $20 for sending those players to KY. They kind of asked for what they got themselves into. For listening to these trolls.

Bama and UGA have been paying players for years. They’re just big mad bc everyone else is able to get in the game now too. They are losing their competitive advantage and all they can do is whine.

I don’t know how many realize it but he’s going to be filthy ridiculous in this offense. That’s said about a lot of guys but in this case it’s obvious.

He has a powerful arm, can see the whole field can fit the ball in easily. He’s gonna have so many easy throws in this offense with the way CJH schemes it

There was nothing elite about Pruitt’s recruiting. Coaching and recruiting are complimentary and he had neither. And was borderline rude to boot.

Everyone saying this kid is the highest rated player that has committed in years--- What about Trey Smith, what was he ranked? I thought he was right up there as well...
