And I get your point. I guess it comes down to what is meant by education. I don't have children, but I know folks who have taken their children to drag queen story time at libraries. They said the queens were not inappropriate in any way and read from books about acceptance of others and inclusiveness. Things like understanding and embracing differences. There was no type of discussing or pushing trans topics. If that was going on with young children I'd take issue, too.I don’t completely disagree with you, but you’re openly ignoring the stated desire of drag Queen story hour. They openly state the goal is to have this as a part of “early childhood education”.
That’s where the real issue occurs. Take your kids where you wish. Just don’t force it on mine. Yet, forcing this on all kids is their goal
I think a big problem is a lot of folks think drag quees are trans. This is certainly not the case with the vast majority. Some are trans IRL, but most are gay men who dress and act like men when not performing. Drag is performance art.
