If the south welfare is funded by California, then who funds all the illegals in California? The south takes far more than they give, in terms of tax money. It is a fact. Without California's 16% contribution to the tax revenue of the federal government... the south would lose the source of the funds they count on to survive.

I don’t know what economic model you are using to come up with this ummm “theory “, but are you actually saying that the United States can’t survive if it loses a state ? You do realize when Cali goes all those millitary bases go right ? When Cali goes away from the country that’s protecting it .. Mexico will go from being their avocado buddies to taking it back . All this talk about Cali being the 6th largest economy , ummm only because it’s under the umbrella of the largest economy on the planet . You do understand that all the billionaires from silicone valley and their companies will move at the first real sign of anything serious like Cali breaking away from the US and in all likelyhood move to the south like people are doing already ( Texas ) .
He, like every other lib, doesn’t see more than 5 inches from his face.
I lived in Cali , worked in the San Fran bay , don’t let anybody tell you that they all think like he does . Cali is controlled by the super elites in sacramento . Most don’t care enough about each other one way or another . The main problem they have is they almost driven the middle class out and they are about to the point that there is only two classes the wealthy and the poor . The wealthy doesn’t pick tomato’s and grapes and the poor doesn’t go to wine tastings every Wednesday thru Saturday . California is a beautiful state to visit for about two weeks , spend all your money and go back home . Lol
Btw there is a little stickler on this whole secede thing. There is no provision for it in the Constitution. It’s a one way trip. So even if those CA dumbasses manage to get enough support to secede their is no federal mechanism to support it. It would take a Constitutional amendment.
Hey I’m all for kicking CA out of the damn Union. Good damn riddance. But no actual law vehicle to do so exists.
I would think it should fall under freedom of association. If they want out, let's help them pack.
It's far more complicated than that. You don't just get to secede because you want to. I don't think you've thought through the agricultural and economic effects.
Even if they did, Trump would have to build a wall to block off California and you know you and I will be paying for it.
In my mind, it's simple. If you don't want to be part of us, you don't have to. My form of ethics doesn't entail "does right/wrong make it harder on me?"It's far more complicated than that. Imagine California without government bases, buying their water, not receiving 354 b from federal gov yearly, tariffs placed on their products. If they want to be treated as separate, many downfalls to that side. The Fifth largest economy would become the fifth largest failing economy.
I was the youngest child. Started kicking my older brothers' * at age 14. The funny thing about little brothers is they surprise you one day.The south is like a little brother. Always mouthy but gets it's ass kicked when the chips are down.
