I have degrees in reading. And common sense. And Google.

But the WHO, the APA, the governments of the UK and Russia, amongst others, have enough data to determine it's not a disease. I'll let you look it up if you're that interested.

There are also studies that are underway in that region. Because testing is not widely available there many think it could be hysteria and causes unrelated to HIV/Aids make up a significant portion of these cases. I am not sure if I buy that though, have to wait for the outcome before I will stand by that.

I see. I can read, have common sense and Google as well and I don't see it clear cut as you. So I don't think the traits you describe enable you to declare "it isn't".

I'm sure the WHO and whoever else you listed have no agendas. I am confident they always seek the absolute truth and justice. Kind of like how the UN Hunger Relief program is or never has been corrupt or abused. Stick some letters and titles by it and it is legit.

And...you didn't answer the other question.

It would be next to impossible to pose a true estimate. It is a continent where homosexuality is taboo and the populations are very superstitious.

So "adults" is the magic word? Obviously adults are more knowledgeable than children in general, correct? So why is it considered abnormal behavior if a man loves a child and wants to touch him sexually? Especially if he gets the child to consent? The adult is diseased or has a disorder?

What is the WHO's agenda? The APA's? Please, tell me if you have proof that they have an agenda, other than to tell the truth. And we're not talking about the UN, are we? I didn't think we were.

In the absence of any proof of an agenda, we have two options: trust that people who know way more than we do are telling the truth, start to accept it and understand that it makes perfect sense. OR concoct conspiracy theories and only believe what we want to.

I've made up my mind: I'll listen to the experts, who declare that "it isn't."

Neither has the US government. Voting rights for women, blacks - we changed our opinion on those issues over time, therefore we shouldn't validate those decisions either.

Listen, we can argue endlessly down silly paths like this. The point is, homosexuality in and of itself is no more harmful than Rick Astley's music. At worse, for any individual, it should be completely irrelevant. We make it a problem b/c some people aren't comfortable with it, try to reduce others b/c of their own insecurities, and pass these beliefs on to generation after generation. And slowly but surely more people are using common sense to realize that homosexuality is not harmful.

You can fight this inevitable change and keep ending up where we are right now. Or you can consider that perhaps there's another way to approach this.

I'm not making anything a problem. Merely debating if homosexuality could possible be a disease or disorder. No emotion to it.

Are you honestly trying to compare something that a person does to a child to something done between two consenting adults.
