Would he have the same sympathy for others?

I posted it above. You added qualifiers he did not include

PJ, I read his tweet as wanting retribution against those who committed the atrocities of Oct. 7, not about the Gazan population as a whole.
I don't think it is quite fair to criticize @NCFisher for "adding qualifiers" when you seem to be adding "Gaza" as the target of the tweet rather than Hamas and those who executed those attacks.

I think most people, at least those who remember 9/11 understand Woods' tweet, whether they agree with it or not.

I don't think his call for vengence means he should not feel sadness, or even cry, at the loss of his house, his community, and people's lives.

If it does, well, then does it not follow that we should be unsympathetic to anyone who suffers loss who also celebrated Obama's killing of Bin Laden?

Now, if I am wrong, and Woods is, in fact, advocating for genocide of innocents, well, in that event he can still feel sad about his loss, I will just feel less empathetic for him.

The conversation then turned to how the state is being managed by its overwhelmingly Democratic government.

"They spent $24 billion last year on the homeless, and what did they spend on preventing these wildfires?" Rogan asked. "Zip."

"Zip," Gibson agreed. "And in 2019, Newsom said, you know, that he would take care of the forest, maintain the forest and do all that kinda stuff. He didn't do anything."

"On top of that, they cut the water off," Rogan said.

Gibson then joked, "All our tax dollars probably went for Gavin's hair gel."

"The whole state is so poorly managed," the podcast host argued. "It’s so frustrating and confusing. And then he gets on TV and pretends like everything is great, ‘California’s the best, we have the best state, we have the most amazing economy,’ like…. You're out of your f---ing mind, dude.'

"You’ve ruined this state, personally ruined it," Rogan said of Newsom.

"Well, it's the same team that was up in San Francisco, and they came down to L.A. and are doing what they did in San Francisco," Gibson said.

The Great Joe Rogan is spot on once again!
