Hopson with 17, Maze 16, Woolridge 14. Maze with a excellent game at point (0 turnovers), Prince had his best game ever defensively! Vols with like 6 turnovers in the game!

Everyone that hates Bruce can shut up. He outcoached bill self all game, with walk ons! Are you kidding me! This team can play and will go far. Those of you that said we needed to fire pearl and that "the writing is on the wall" is alsolutely horribly wrong and needs to fess up and eat crow. This team looks good without the street ballers, let them stay at home forever!

Really proud of this team, hope y'all are too! Enjoy this win!

Pearl could get maximum effort out of his first 2 teams every game. Last years team didn't play with any effort in any game. Not sure why he can't motivate a talented team.

look... i am thrilled we just beat the #1 team in the nation after the week our program has had. it was an incredible EFFORT by EVERYONE on our team.

this team played with focus and effort cuz of the weeks incidents. their backs were against the wall and god forbid they should go soft versus the #1 team in the nation on their home floor on national television.

i wonder why bill self said he'd rather play the game without the unfortunate circumstances of the last week.

i hope we can play this emotionally charged throughout SEC play and in march. maybe these suspensions is just what pearl needed to get 100% effort and focus out of these guys. if you don't want to coach effort... this is one way to get it. maybe we can suspend more players if our guys start looking like they don't care again.

I'm serious. I don't remember the last time I heard so much anger, negativity and downright ugliness directed at our team, players and coaches. I get the frustration, as I've been quite frustrated with the stupid mistakes along the way. But in the end, I think we've got a great staff, and fantastic team with a lot of heart.

they deserve huge props. And many of you have several shiploads of crow the eat.

Seems to me the right players are getting playing time now...good chemistry, and they are hungry.

Haven't said you are not, but it is hard to see your support for the team and coach with all the doubting and negative.

Fans can get upset, but the constant nagging gets old.

what did pearl do to outcoach self? tell hopson to stop shooting 3's and take it to the rim? tell bobby maze to play the game of his life? tell skylar to finally make a shot?

i am thrilled that we just beat the #1 team in the nation after all this mess of a week.

but point out to me how pearl outcoached self.

God Pearl sucks...he just outcoached a National Championship coach with 6 scholarship players and 3 walk-ons. Fire him now!!

I'm thrilled about this win. I'm still very skeptical that Pearl can take UT to the next level, but I like what he has done for Tennessee so far.

That being said, it's ridiculous that there are already multiple threads calling people out about how they don't know anything about basketball. Everyone complaining about Pearl wants to see tournament results. This was a great win in a difficult situation, but Pearl fans also need to stop pretending that this win means they're right and everyone else is wrong.

That being said, this was outstanding. Go Vols.

they were forced to play a half court game and it wasnt always pretty but bruce and the boys outcoached and out played KU today. Congrats and way to stick it to em
