I love how he said that even though UT weren't playing 4 players we weren't playing walk on's and he was like well McBee is a walk on (but he acted like that didn't count)

I remember Hat saying yesterday that he would be shocked if UT didn't compete in this game. The one who has to eat the most crow on this site is CICEROMESSIAH, by a long shot.

Cannot say enough about the team that showed up today! WOW! I am sooo proud of this team and this coach! If we can stay out of foul trouble throughout the year, we will continue to be a dangerous team!

Okay, and teach JP to shoot free throws! LOL

UT outhustled KU all game long. Imagine if we played like that all season, and didn't have those prima donna attitudes the first few games

Great win for Bruce Pearl today! But he better have those guys at practice at 5am tomorrow morning shooting free throws.

GREAT win for UT.

I thought Pearl inserting Chism with a minute left in the first half was idiotic.

He got a great win today. I have soured on him in the past year and am still not convinced he can ever do anything in the postseason.

That Game DID prove, that Pearl shook hands with the coach of the best team in the nation who had all his horses and beat him at his own game. Speaks Loud if you ask me

I think he clearly understands that you can do that, but his point here seems to be that his bias is hilarious and transparent and each argument against pearl takes an entirely disingenuous stance of 'objectivity', ie the thread about wisco's coach that will in all likelihood not be followed up with a thread of acknowledgement re: today's game and what that suggests about a coach, etc.

And really, ya gotta admit, it is pretty funny.

Classic BS. He said TN would lose by 15-20. He always hedges. He says 2 different things, then picks 1 to crow about afterwards. It is almost as stupid as the person on sports radio today who said about LV vs. MS. State

"They have won 30 in a row, the percentages say they have to lose eventually, maybe not this game or maybe not ever."
