Indeed. Lots of reasons to hate the guy, all with justification.

Which reminds me....(random note)

When Bob Knight called out Calipari earlier in the season, I was laughing because I realized that had Calipari still been at Memphis, EVERY single Kentucky fan would have agreed, called him a cheater, and loved Bob Knight.

But since he is at UK now, Bob Knight is the scum of the earth and Cal is running for governor.

Such is the world of sports we live in.

Luckily, such homerism isn't known in Knoxville. We all, for instance, always really hated Lane Kiffin deep down inside.

yea calipari has been too final four every where he has coached ,because every team he has coached has had players bought and paid for ,and questionable acedemics.plus every team he has coached has been put on probation.

yea i live in claiborne county and almost everone is tennessee football fans and alot say they are kentucky basketball fans and tennessee football fans ,i have told them for years they just pull for whoever is winning like in nba they was laker fans in early 80 then detroit fans then chicago ,and i hate that to me they are not even real fans i went to tennessee basketball games were i moved from upper deck to first row because no shows.i dont change teams been a vcol fan my whole life and in professional ive been a 76ers fan,nfl dolphins and titans since they moved to nashville ,i have went to last two dolphins at titans games and pulled for the dolphins and the titans won the last one dec 20 in ot and won the previous but im still a miami ,and in mlb i like two teams houston and pittsburg,i hatew these fans that pull for the winner only especially living in tennessee and saying they are tennessee football fans and kentucky basketball fans my high scool people were that way and our colors were orange and white with black trim and our two biggest rivals wore blue and white

There are some posters on here that need to read up on Calipari. I'd be willing to bet that his starting 5 is making more money than he is right now. I'm okay with it though, because I've always hated UK basketball. And it's going to be great to see Calipari leave them with heaps of probation. I hate the amount of laws the NCAA has, but there should be one in there that says "If a coach is responsible for major athletic probation of more than 1 school, that coach will be banned from the NCAA". Its way too easy (especially in basketball) to entice kids with money/shoe deals/cars/houses... It is even easier when your best friend is Worldwide Wes.
