Cal's comments revealing

No telling you huggins hasn't had a successful season in a decade and a half and then watching you respond with incoherent smiley posts, tells me so.

That's a more recent "successful" season than Pearl has had. Keep trying. Maybe someday it'll ring clearly.

What's the point? In his first 3 seasons, he eclipsed anything Pearl has done his entire career.

Lofton, this does make me feel pretty good. You need to try it. It must be a pretty good argument because the Saint hasn't responded.

No actually i dont look to boost my ecred when I get on the internet.

So coming on a message board boasting you have more experience than 99% of posters because you handed a coach water during timeouts at a Division III school isn't trying to boost ecred?

I agree 100%.

Great post.

That was just the intimidation factor. If being a waterboy for a D-III school doesn't mean that "connected" in basketball circles, I don't know what does.

I just don't know how I could handle the pressure of playing/handing a water bottle in fron of 34 people.

What a great thread. Alas I have been tied up with other things, I would have loved to jumped in on this one a little earlier.

Lofton, we could never begin to understand the toughness that is acquired over the course of 4 years of handing water bottles to D-III players. It's similar to being in the Marines.

Most have flashbacks and begin to randomly hand out bottles of water to complete strangers on the streets. This is just one of the unspoken casualties of college athletics. Truly horrifying.

Tragic. Some people just can't take the heat.

You haven't missed much knowledge, that is for sure.

That was very obvious to me, as I read the final 3 pages of the thread.

The only thing that stuck out of relevance was DIII waterboy, stumbling blindly across a message board with zero knowledge of the game, and not an ounce of credibility.

The only thing that would make it better is if he told us how he once played linebacker for the Mud Dawgs for coach Kline, in the Bourbon Bowl.

Just imagine sitting in your parents basement drinking mountain dew and eating salt and vinegar chips, laughing uncontrollably at everything hatvol posts. It's just like that.

Very nice.

Can you imagine the repercussions of someone spilling a water in front of him?

Catastrophic.
