Cam Robinson/Hootie Jones arrested for Bama

Saban cut a deal . . . their eligibility will be over but within the Statute of Limitations . . . they will refile the charges then . . . :thud:

Forget competition.

I'm happy for the kid.

He didn't deserve to have his entire life messed up by one mistake.

You're right. He deserves so much more because of all of that work he did with lepers in India...no wait that was Mother Theresa. This kid just plays football, right?

And it will definitely be that BIG second mistake that will mess up his life. It should occur right after the NFL Draft.

Wouldn't that be a debate over the severity of punishment, not guilt?
Are you even real?

I've actually been wondering for a while if D4H is a troll account maintained by one of the Gators on here or someone else from another fanbase.

Hell, if I were to make an attempt at trolling my fellow Vol fans, I doubt my best effort would do as well as D4H's regular stuff.

Haha. The DA's logic is so hilariously stupid.

In the end, two first time offenders were cut a break on non-violent crimes. It's not like the second coming of Baylor.

We, I mean Bama fans, felt all along that once the evidence presented itself, this miscarriage of justice would be rectified.

Seems quite clear to me that the DA knows something was compromised in this potential case. Whether the arrest, search, seizure, etc...it's his job to only pursue cases that he believes can/will lead to a conviction.

Something was obviously a hard stop for him in reaching that conclusion.

Sometimes things just work out.

Yeah, and a search can be instituted under probable cause.
Which includes police suspicion of one "acting" suspiciously.
I may not agree with that law but it also proves that there is no way possible to truly enforce that defense.
Dey got away with it plain and simple.
Not the only school and not blaming Bama, just amazed that we have the lawsuit and national attention when being so relatively clean, for a little while at least.

DA made it clear that his heart wasn't in it. The kids are from the area and Saban has sent some infor, apparently, that will let the police know these kids are getting an attitude adjustment. Second chances.

Yep, as I said, got away with it.

The district attorney did not find sufficient evidence to prosecute, according to the county clerk's office. The charges were not dropped completely, however. The clerk's office said the case could proceed in the future if new evidence is presented. But for now, no future court dates are scheduled.

"I want to emphasize once again that the main reason I'm doing this is that I refuse to ruin the lives of two young men who have spent their adolescence and teenage years, working and sweating, while we were all in the air conditioning,"

Im sorry, a stolen gun and possession of marijuana
