This one stings. We were all so high on him as a recruit and the little bit of pt he got there were some small flashes. Really bad luck with injuries. Fingers crossed he pulls back out of the portal, but I don’t expect he will. If D-Samp goes to the NFL, this means we likely need a back from the portal.

So much potential, but due to constant injuries, very little performance...His videos were some of the best I ever saw of a high school running back.

Had a girl I liked once, but she married a friend...They divorced, she wasn't all of that.

Cheer for the school not the name on the jersey. He was buried on the depth chart, he knew it, we knew it, coaches knew it....best decision for him.

We have more guys coming in and Sampson could come back. He had a time frame to enter or not enter.

Officially no, behind the scenes yes. Tennessee collective is working on an NIL increase for him. Add revenue sharing next year and he’ll be well compensated. That’ll be guaranteed, him testing the NFL in a heavy RB year isn’t. His final projection will dictate but him being left out of the Top 10 for Heisman could be a gone indicator.

I think they split carries fairly even between the 2 next year… idk why so many don’t think bishop is legit… he was ranked low but produced in the highest classification better than anybody in the history of the state. If not for him being an excellent rb in the 2nd Q most of the season I don’t think Sampson is able to close 4th Qs like he did all year… I think he has a really big year next season.
