He will beat out Bray simply by showing up. He may not beat out Stephens though. Stephens' arm is legit. If he can put the rest together he could be good. Big if, but look what CLK has done with Crompton the past two games and he's had longer to work with Stephens. JMO.
Sab, I'll give you the GA game, but he completed 46% of his passes against Auburn. I know he had 2 td's and 0 picks, but come on.
And how did he have more time to work with Stephens? I'm just curious.
I think the fact that Stephens hasn't gotten a chance this year is a pretty good indicator that he won't get it next year.He will beat out Bray simply by showing up. He may not beat out Stephens though. Stephens' arm is legit. If he can put the rest together he could be good. Big if, but look what CLK has done with Crompton the past two games and he's had longer to work with Stephens. JMO.
Exactly. It's going to take NS giving up his attitude and allowing the coaching staff to do their jobs with him for him to succeed with this staff. If he doesn't do that, I think he will transfer after Spring Ball if he doesn't beat out at least one of the guys.
+1...Bray just has better tools to work with, and for that reason, I'm thinking the coaches will be itching like poison ivy to get the kid up to speed ASAP...not redshirt him.I disagree..Bray does have a chance to start because he will enroll early. Simms will be brought in to provide quality depth that Lamaison doesnt. I think Simms will be given an opportunity to start though.
He says that because if they did think he could come in and start from day one we would not be bringing in a JUCO QB. IMO they want to RS Bray his first year, which i agree whole heartedly. Him coming in as an EE does make things interesting tho.
