Correct. The stupid dems could have voted present to lower the threshold to allow him to stay SoH, but they did not. They supported the "MAGA" Republicans by voting yes unanimously and ousting him as speaker. Remember, they all said "MAGA" republicans are the biggest threat to our democracy and here they come like lemmings with their full support.

Their actions have done more to bring the House Republicans together than anything they could have done by themselves and we are eternally grateful.

The jokes just keep coming. Of course the R’s elected a Johnson for Speaker. Considering the current leader of the party (until he goes to jail anyway), they couldn’t allow anybody but a Johnson to lead them. They’ve been used to it since 2016.

It did, with a lot of Dem votes. 93 GOP ers voted against it. And Biden says he'll sign it if it passes the Senate.

RIP Mike Johnson.
