Why would we want him? I know he stated he was VFL and all, but I am pretty sure he wants nothing to do with UT after all the Vol Creepers attacked him on Twitter.

If you are committed to UT for a long time and flip on us at the last minute, you're the exact opposite of a VFL imo!

I doubt Bobby gets fired. Would mean a return to suckville for Arkansas and a mass of defections. Simply too much at stake to fire him. Kid switched last minute anyway. Someone promised him something. He'll still get it.

Petrino will still be the coach. Peters isnt going anywhere. Successful coaches dont get fired for adulteress relationships. Pitino at Louisville survived from his steakhouse affair or Bruce Pearl with Brandi Miller while he was still married to previous wife. Alcohol or the chick if were still a student would change things. Ie Mike Price,Larry Eustachy and Mike Dubose wasnt at successful as Petrino so discount him. The woman was an adult. I forsee him getting fined and them paying her to go away.

You are mostly right but she was an employee of the AD that he helped get a job.

If there was an affair then he is probably gone.... then again, Arkansas tolerated more than this from Nutt.

Assuming Petrino didn't buck his trend with the girlfriend, it's likely he'll pull out before he finds himself in even more of a sticky situation.

no. just like when Kiffin left, we had recruits that wanted out of signing but Hamilton wouldn't let them. it was just from the group who were enrolling early sicne no one else was signed at that point. But Hammy could have released all 8 of the early enrollees.

Peters is tied to Arkansas and they do not have to release him or any of their signees.

I'm not so sure he'll weather this storm so easily. He basically lied to his AD and had an alleged affair wih a subordinate employee that he hired for some questionable post in the football program. What the hell does a student athlete development coordinator do anyway? Who knows, but I'm sure she was getting a decent salary of taxpayer money. On top of that he has a morals clause in his contract that he evidently violated if it turns out to be an affair.

Pitino just nailed some woman in a Denny's bathroom. Then she tried to blackmail him, which she is in jail for now.
