Yea, they were wonderful compassionate people. This is one of the most ridiculous arguements I have ever heard.

My point is Germans were not all bad people, not all Germans supported the gassing of Jews, many of them were caught up in the nationalism Hitler used to inspire and move the people to action while he hid his agenda from the public. The point is that not all of a certain group subscribe to the most radical beliefs held by those on the fringes.

This isn't surprising coming from somebody who sees things in such a simplistic black and white way.

At least have a thread called "Muslim Obsessed" and make it a sticky so all these rants can just be tacked onto that.

Post on a few threads about your thoughts on Radical Islam and all of a sudden you're "obsessed" about it. The right word would be "concerned". I would also be for a dedicated "Obama Thread" so you can profess your love for the Almighty himself.

I also find it quite interesting that some of the ones up-in-arms about the so-called "bashing" of Muslims are some of the same ones that bash the Christians in this forum for their beliefs.

Better yet, let's marginalize those too smart to see the world in the simplest terms like you do, of us versus them, with no one in the middle.

Got news for you. The middle is huge!

just replace muslim with hitler and you have the same argument many made before ww2.

where was my head buried in the sand? I naturally consider militant Islam a major problem. However, there was also a time when this forum was enjoyable, before the anti-muslim circle jerk became the status quo. Posted via VolNation Mobile

stand up and tell your fellow muslims to stop killing women and children.

1) Its more than a few threads. Its over half of them lately.

2) Every time you get called out for your blind and uninformed hatred of all Muslims, you say, no, I'm just "concerned" and its only the radicals I hate. Then we find you a few posts later screaming about all Muslims or claiming that a hugepercentage are "radical."

3) When did someone bash a Christian on here for a Christian belief? I've not seen that.

While we're at it, can we get a separate forum for folks that would prefer to silence others by whining about what they post rather than use their mouse to just scroll off somewhere else where they find the content more to their liking? There's been a lot of that going on lately and I'm tired of having to read it, so I too, think it should be isolated so that I don't have to use my mouse to scroll past it... :moon2:

Look on the bright side, you're doing much better than the ding-a-ling bomber, his bombanator caught fire but didn't even blow up. :)

i don't think it's their beliefs. i think it's the fact that they blow up men, women and children almost on a daily basis. or that they attack Christians all over the world.

i wish you libs had the same intensity in defending America than you do in attacking private businesses.

I think the problem here is that a couple of people seem to believe this forum is their own private personal blogging space and feel the need to create thread after thread that never gets opened and are largely ignored because they are obvious cut and pastes from fringe websites who mainly deal in conspiracy theories and and unsubstantiated rumor. The sad thing is most would have realized this by now and taken it elsewhere to a forum where people actually want to participate in it.

I wouldnt call it uninformed on my part. We are not the ones strapping bombs to our chests, packing cars with explosives, and blowing up innocent men, women, and children because they dont believe in our religion.

You and your liberal bleeding hearts can coddle them all you want but I wont. Tell your sad tale of woe to the families of the officers, firemen, and citizens, that were murdered on 9/11, in the name of Allah.

Plead your case to the families of the soldiers and citizens captured and beheaded, for nothing other than being an infidel, in the name of Allah.

I believe it means "struggle".

In Islamic theology, there are actually two types of jihad, minor and major (or something like that). The minor refers to the personal struggle to live the values of a good muslim, the major refers to military action.

Nevertheless, just like with any religion, people can interpret anyway they want. They can overlook the bad things and focus on the good. I am still of the opionion good people will be good and bad people will be bad and that is the determining factor about who becomes radical.

"Mein Kanpf" means 'my struggle.'

At least have a thread called "Muslim Obsessed" and make it a sticky so all these rants can just be tacked onto that.

Or we could tag a whine thread and any time you wanted to :cray: you could add on.

Penetrating insights into the entirely obvious.

If we all waited for you to start a thread, we would have a rather dead forum, would we not??

As it stands now it is dead already, even with all the cut and pastes. The fact that so many have been posted and almost entirely ignored means that many people are avoiding them and choosing not to participate in the politics forum and the nonstop cut and paste posts that spark no debate or conversation.

The non stop postings of subjects that would be better served to go into one of many other threads already started about that particular subject has served as the disease, people avoiding the political forum because of it is simply a symptom of that disease.

That's 40% with ZERO responses and only 27% with over 10.

I could post a picture of a turd on this site and get over 10 responses.

Doesn't this indicate to you that people aren't even bother reading anything you post? so why bother?

just replace muslim with hitler and you have the same argument many made before ww2.

The first genocide of the 20th Century occurred when two million Armenians living in Turkey were eliminated from their historic homeland through forced deportations and massacres.

After the successful obliteration of the people of historic Armenia, the Turks demolished any remnants of Armenian cultural heritage including priceless masterpieces of ancient architecture, old libraries and archives. The Turks even leveled entire cities such as the once thriving Kharpert, Van and the ancient capital at Ani, to remove all traces of the three thousand year old civilization.

The half-hearted reaction of the world's great powers to the plight of the Armenians was duly noted by the young German politician Adolf Hitler. After achieving total power in Germany, Hitler decided to conquer Poland in 1939 and told his generals: "Thus for the time being I have sent to the East only my 'Death's Head Units' with the orders to kill without pity or mercy all men, women, and children of Polish race or language. Only in such a way will we win the vital space that we need. Who still talks nowadays about the Armenians?"

I suppose if ignorance is bliss then apathy might be ecstasy to some.

Not being a bean counter at heart I wouldn't be all that interested in pursueing your line of discussion except to say that generally speaking I get usually get over two dozen reads of posted threads where there is no response.

If you like to talk about turds, don't let me stand in your way, to each his own. :hi:

Curiosity plain and simple, people slow down to look at train wrecks when they pass as well, human nature. I will admit I have looked at some of your threads and feel the need to add that except on a very rare occasion or two I have been disappointed by the content every time.

Read = open the thread

Read does not equal actually reading the cut and pasted drivels you post.

I wouldnt call you that. You may agree with me sometimes and disagree with me at other times, but thats what makes for good conversations. It would be boring if everyone agreed on everything. Thats what makes us individuals and is what makes this country so great. My intentions where not to offend anyone, but to voice my views and opinion on certain matters. Sometimes that cannot be avoided. I am not a fan of political correctness.
