Can We Have...

Its usually the same ones (not always, but usually) who when Christianity is brought up they doubt it, bad mouth it or say "hundreds of years ago Christians killed people to". But when some (me included) criticize a "religion" that has killed probably millions worldwide those same people get all upset.

Now there are some who discount all religions, no matter what they believe.

There are gray areas on some issues, but not this one.

Don't follow, Christians killed millions of people.....

Time has some how made this better?

If you want to play that route you can go back 1 or 2 days and find something horrible a christian has done.

Ok, you show me an example of a Christian trying to blow up buildings or a plane within the last 2 days in the name of Christianity, and I will give in and say you are right and I was wrong.

Show me someone today, who has had a family member murdered in the name of Christianity. In 2010 and as long as I have been alive Christianity is a religion of peace, I can't say the same for the "religion" in which you so strongly defend.

Wow, you are in need of serious help.

I'll pray for you.

As I have said before, but you may not have the mental capacity to understand, not all muslims are terrorists but all terrorists are muslim. Now if you are too scared to say that, I understand.

Absurd. Patently absurd. I really can't take anything else you say seriously if you really believe that nonsense.

OE, I love you man.

No problem, I am a bible thumping hardcore christian but I am not stupid.

Crazy/evil people will use whatever they can as an excuse to promote violence.

The vehicle they can use is christianity/islam/catholocism....

+1

The whole point is to show that any one can pervert any thing to justify malicious acts.

To lay blame one group of people is insane.

You honestly do not get it, do you?

I'll pray for you that God can get the hatred out of your heart.

Do me a favor and list off who you think the ones are that are so quick to "defend" Muslims but also "attack" Christians. I can think of one person that you might perceive to fit that category that is participating in this discussion. So, please expand on "same ones".

Regardless, and more to the point, is it that if someone doesn't accept all things Christian, then they are "attacking" Christianity and if they don't hate all things Muslim, then they are "defending" Muslims? If that is the case, then it would make sense that it is the "same ones" ... those would be the ones that see a little gray in life.

Don't mean to pick on you or to steer the discussion away from what you are saying but here is a question that has been bothering me.

We have a supposedly Christian president who has said we are not a Christian nation but a multicultural nation and has said we have no business in Iraq, a muslim nation.

Two questions.

1. Is not Afghanistan a muslim nation? After all they incorporate the barbaric pagan islamic sharia law into their own constitution.

2. If Iraq is a muslim nation, what then of the few surviving Christians who live within it's borders???

Anyone????? Particularly those who support Barry and subscribe to Andrea Mitchel's admonition that 'Barry is a devout Christian.'

(PUHleeeeeeeeeeeeeese none of you repeat the crap about the corrupt catholic/politics transgressions of several hundred years ago, at any rate that was mostly in retaliation for 700 years of living under the sword of islam, I freely admit, two wrongs don't make a right.)
