I don’t think it affects recruiting as much as you think. Everyone can see why they are booing, and most of the time it is justified.

We are paying customers. Customers always give feedback. Most don’t have Heups direct line so cheering or boos are his feedback for the product he serves us. It’s that simple. Welcome to business.

I was at the game on Sat. I don't recall booing any of the players. I did hear boos when as you said above, and rightly so. Stupid call.

Didn’t hear much argument. Would you agree that the UT AD and football program is a business that puts a product on the field for us to see every Saturday? Would you like to tell me how this program makes money? Tell me who pays for all the cable, satellite, streaming options that which in turn create revenue? I would imagine it’s the viewers and people in the stands? Am I wrong? I’m assuming your giggle post was because you had no true argument. You don’t have to like it, but customers get to have an opinion.

In other words, we understand that multiple 3 and outs might be a reason numerous fans felt moved to voice their objection to how that came about.

No profanity ever.

I would boo bad play calling because coaches are supposed to be good coaches.

I might boo a player only because of perceived lack of effort. Even then, I would probably not boo a player because the player may be dealing with an injury.

I would not boo a player who is trying to play well (fumble, interception, missed block).

Just having some fun....
I'm not opposed to booing. Especially coaches. I really didn't hear that much last week. We're 5-1, but haven't looked great offensively since the 2nd half of the OU game. If we just execute better we won't have to worry about it

lol.. multiple times? We went 3 and out 1 time in the 1st half but if it justifies your narrative go ahead. Don’t surprise me in the least that people who boo also make s*** up.
My take on people who boo in a crowd is they’re cowards. It’s laughable that a few talk about a direct line when they woul S*** their pants if it were face to face.

No offense taken. We’re all here just to state our useless opinions and have some fun while enjoying TN football. I’m with you. Maybe I’m a little in the extreme category but our season hinges on this weekend. If you take into account expectations of playoffs anyway. We can play with anyone if our offense can find some life.

I agree. It’s not the players they are booing, it’s the coaches and refs. If you’re paying attention it’s easy to determine what is being booed and it’s usually not the players.

I’ve wished for years that we’d stop booing the opposing team’s entrance. Not because I care about their feelings, but because it cuts short the best entrance in college football. Tennessee runs through the T, it’s loud and exciting, then, instead of sustaining it, we start booing the other team.

I think other teams have used it against us by running out earlier to ruin the moment. And our stupid negative fans fall for it.

Just keep cheering the T and ignore the other team. Not like it bothers them anyway. If anything, they feed off of it.
