Nobody is morally obligated to feed you.
They can't be helped. They will still try to argue you down as these countries applies a boot on their necks. If these protest haven’t exposed to everyone just how corrupt and authoritarian western governments are....you can’t be helped...
WOW... this is even over the top for you. You are really drinking the Karl Marx koolaid saying this. Are you going to force the farmers to grow food or threaten to take their land? Maybe have the state or Big Agra run food production?lol.....
ob·li·ga·tion
- an act or course of action to which a person is morally or legally bound; a duty or commitment.
- the condition of being morally or legally bound to do something.
We obviously don't agree on the significance of the "morally" part and that's okay, but it doesn't remove it from being a component of obligation.
This is just a stupid post. And it proves what little of a person you are. Farmers are in noway obligated to feed you. That's their choice. If they choose to quit farming, and many of them have including myself, and move to another job they have that right. For you to continue to state it's their obligation proves that you are nothing more than a troll. And not a good one at that.I 100% agree. Obligation is subjective - you think farmers aren't obligated, I think they are (within context).
Take slavery for instance..........Lol. Complete horse s***.
WFGEFM? Hang em from the ramparts!Again, it all depends on what led farmers to that point:
Scenario 1: They want Feb. changed from Black History Month to White Farmers Get Everything Free Month - the majority of the public would be against them, their land would eventually be taken (for a fair price of course) and handed over to people willing to farm. Emergency food stores would be opened and everything would be okay.
Scenario 2: The government is taking the first born from every farm and using them in medical experimentation: The majority of the public would side with the farmers and demand a change in policy. If change was not made, they would join with the farmers
to do what was necessary.
Obviously, it all depends on the public's view on the "correctness" of the farmers' position.
Same with the truckers, same with BLM.
Take slavery for instance..........
Or child labor............
Or child pornography..........
Or laws for slander......
Truth in advertising......
Environmental regulations........
The list goes on.
It would have been wonderful had society not needed any of those things legislated...
but enough of society sux that the rest often see the unfortunate need for more "official" intervention.

I actually proposed this idea a long time ago.Trudeau is about to have a rude awakening. He might actually be unifying the nation but not like he expected.
URGENT MESSAGE TO CANADIANS: GENERAL STRIKE: call for a Canada wide walk-out from Feb 21st onward until all mandates are lifted and the emergency declaration is removed, and Trudeau is removed from power and a new leader is in place
