I agree it is different completely but under the laws we have , blocking a public road way is against the law . We have the right to a peaceful protest but we shouldn’t block others from moving about freely . I’m all for protests from any group that wants to do it ,but a protest should not infringe upon my rights to move around the country freely .

I feel like there is a ton of conflating going on here, and hypocrisy is nothing new on either side.

I dont remember the specifics of the Nashville thing to know if it was somehow tied to interstate travel. But the canadian trucker have issue with the canadian government, so blocking the bridge makes sense because it's a trucking route, and causing gridlock in the capital makes sense because this is a canadian government driven issue. So at least the canadian protest makes sense.

Sorta like the Chaz thing vs the police station and court house thing in Seatle. Chaz made no sense to the protestors cause, they police station did. People even noted that at least they were going after the right people/group even if the methods arent acceptable.

I agree there was that, but I was at least inferring it was because blocking an interstate didnt make sense. I might have been the only one, or forgetting what actually went on with it, but it's not raising too many red flags for me on the difference in reaction
