I see it differently, but I can understand your view.I agree there was that, but I was at least inferring it was because blocking an interstate didnt make sense. I might have been the only one, or forgetting what actually went on with it, but it's not raising too many red flags for me on the difference in reaction

But are you really going to compare blocking entrance to a business with looting and burning a business?

Agreed. If this goes on for a month a tanks a small business, that owner is going to be pissed.Shutting it down is shutting it down. I understand they are not the same thing, but I'm not a fan of whining about impacting businesses in one instance while ignoring it in another. If these guys are blockading the downtown and wind up shutting everything down for a month or so, there are probably some small business owners who will go under. Probably wouldn't matter to them whether their stores were looted or just blockaded when they're headed to bankruptcy court.

Brings up another important distinction.
Local governments were powerless (or unwilling) to stop the destruction, burning, and looting during some of the BLM riots.
Canadian government can end this blockade at any point they feel they are ready.
