Cancel Dr. Seuss

Cancel culture is the Republicans' latest gripe. It seems to be their criticism of criticism, as if they are doing nothing wrong to warrant criticism. Heh heh. And they do that after trying to cancel the results of a Presidential election, by inciting sedition with a mob assault on the Congress in joint session to count votes of the Electoral College. I've noticed that right wing media often criticize Democrats for the kinds of misconduct Republicans are committing. Talk about a cancel culture. That is standard operating procedure for the Republican machine. Right wing media forever belly-aches in loudly resentful voices, against things a normal child should understand.

It's Doctor freaking Seuss. Why don't you liberals tell us what isn't offensive... The list will be much shorter

I just took 3 minutes and read McElligot's Pool.

Somebody PLEEEEEEEASE tell me what in that little book is even remotely racist. Is it the word "jigger"?

or maybe they just think it's stupid to cancel cartoons, product logos, tv shows, or children's books over literally nothing, that no one was offended by for the past 30 years or more, but because everyone is afraid of being labeled a "racist fascist nazi" on twitter and FB, they scurry around like idiots to get rid of normal things.

Sure, there's some of that going on, but how do you get upset over culling out a few books in a Dr. Seuss exhibit while supporting attempts to overturn a certified presidential election with a pack of lies?

Disney has already begun to change out the Splash Mountain ride from the Uncle Remus theme.

Why don't you just not read the books you find offensive and not try and ban the ones you think are?

You know Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn are next, right?
Some books are already edited to be more in line with "modern feelings". The old unmolested versions do usually have warnings though so no one starts reading a book and the book touches them in their no-no place and ruins their life.
