Canceled/Ending Shows announced!

What was the taste like?..

It was a competitive cooking show consisting of teams and one celebrity chef mentor per team. I thought it set itself apart from all the other competitive cooking shows with it's format though. I enjoyed watching it while it was on.

The mentors were Anthony Bourdain, Marcus Samuelsson, Nigella Lawson, Ludo Lefebvre. It was entertaining watching the mentors get competitive with their teams.

NBC has cancelled Constantine and State of affairs.

Fox has cancelled The Following.

Constantine is being shopped around to other outlets.

Not really surprised about any of those. The Following started hot and dwindled, and Constantine never really seemed to catch on, even for a Friday night.

And State of Affairs...well Katherine Heigl is pretty much considered a cancer in Hollywood now so this isn't surprising. Her leaving Grey's Anatomy and trashing Judd Apatow were both huge mistakes.

Marry Me was actually funny. One Big Happy was terrible. I never watched About A Boy but it looked rather silly.

I can't believe Undateable will come back.

False. Some episodes are better, but New Girl is more consistently funny. Coach is leaving, so next season could be the show's last.

Not sure about that. I've always thought the show was better without Coach, so I feel like there's at least a decent chance the show will improve next season.

Undateable is pretty bad. Chris D'elia's dad was a big tv writer, or producer though. Probably survives off that

False to your false. MP is way more consistently funny than NG. NG has been going downhill for the last 2 seasons. They're quite obviously going back to the Jess/Nick romance again, which was lame the first time.

Coach was hardly the shot in the arm the show needed, so I actually don't care he's leaving. He really didn't bring a lot.

I was beginning to think CSI would never get cancelled. I thought Battle Creek was a pretty big disappointment considering who was behind it. Not really surprised by any of the others.

Backstrom looked like a sure cancel to me. I like Rainn Wilson but I doubt he'll ever get anything as big as his Dwight Shrute character again. He's likely joined the long list of typecast actors known for one big role their whole careers.

Fox just announced that American Idol will be done after its 15th season ends next year.

I guess they figured they needed to go out while the show is still successful instead of milking it until it's moved to Friday nights to die.

I do know that the actor who plays Schmidt is married to a head of programming for FOX, so I wonder if that has helped the show survive. Jess and Nick together is just awful. I really liked Coach. I didn't like Winston at all until recently.

If I'm being honest it was never the same after Simon Cowell left. The rise of The Voice marked it's eventual demise most likely.

With Marry Me, One Big Happy, Benched and the Mindy Project all getting the axe, and Damon Wayans Jr leaving New Girl, that leaves the entire principle cast of Happy Endings without jobs. I would love nothing more than to see that show get revived on one of the streaming services.

Adam Pally was leaving Mindy Project after this season anyway. He got a deal with ABC to create a show for them.

Weird Loners cancelled as well.

That's pretty wild all of their shows got axed at the same time, though Pally left MP before it was axed. And it might live on through Hulu.

Happy Endings was great until every episode was about Max being gay and single.
