#2 why the freak would she "defend the rim" when playing one-on-one? He would make every uncontested jump shot in that scenario.

Again, he wouldn't need a jump shot because if she played real D and close to him he would go right around her.

Well I did see Omar Epps (while rehabing a bad knee) beat Sanaa Latham! It was close but he still won.

What you don't understand (somehow) after I've literally told you on 3 separate occasions that I think Skylar McBee would win hands down if he could shoot a jump shot.

When I say "if he could shoot a jump shot" i'm not saying "if he could make a jump shot", I'm saying "if he could shoot a jump shot" as in if the rules allowed it.

Maybe that's where you are getting confused?

Scotty Hopson and JP Prince are extremely athletic scholarship athletes.

I'm not sure if this is the case anymore due to NCAA rules, but Pat used to regularly pit the Lady Vols against a team of athletic male students. (nowhere near D-1 quality athletes mind you) and I'm pretty sure the guys won most every time.

It was done to teach the girls toughness. They got their losing done in practice so they would be ready to dominate in the actual games.

I think you're assuming that McBee is not coordinated enough to drive the ball with Candace sitting in the paint, but female basketball players do this to Candace quite often in the WNBA.

I just think Candace is a beast and Skylar Mcbee is Skylar Mcbee. No disrespect to Skylar, but Candace does this for a living. I still think she'd beat that ass, no matter how much more athletic he is. She's close enough physically that her mentality and skill would overcome Skylar and his non-childbearing hips.

Skylar is faster, stronger, and can jump higher. He could stand in the lane just as well as candace could. 2 inches are easily offset by his athletic advantage.

If Skylar played her 10 times and lost once he should quit basketball forever.

Heck, if an NAIA D2 men's player played her and lost once they should quit forever.

After watching about 10 minutes of "the greatest women's team of all time" last night I am convinvced a solid 14 and under boys AAU team would beat them by double-digits.

Funny that this topic came up. Tiffany Woosely of the 95-96 champion lady Vols played in my men's church league the year after she left the Houston Comets. She COULD NOT EVEN GET A SHOT UP without it getting swatted. Guys would have to guard her with kid gloves and move when she took shots.

Like a lot have said, Most High School boys teams would pummel the 2009-10 UConn ladies.

I saw a 318 credit score in Darlington SC. LOL and iirc "our" (meaning my particular clientel @ that specific time) had an avg HOUSEHOLD income of ab 1800/month. South fla (save the Golf Couses and resorts) is pretty slummy too. Talk about rednecks! Whew!

People on this thread have clearly stated that they think the world of Candace but honestly believe that McBee could beat her.

How that is sexist or somehow "stupid," I really don't know, but I guess you just like to whine.
