Some people just dont understand just how bad women really are at basketball. A high level high school team would destroy UCONN

When I went to UT I used to play pickup games vs Holdsclaw and Catchings. I never lost. It really wasn't ever close. To be fair, I held my own against some of the male players too (Isaiah Victor, I'm talkin to yu). That said, after a while we'd let our least talented friend guard Holdsclaw and he'd still shut her down. If she was open, she'd knock it down, but she wasn't getting open without neglect on our part. Girls ball is a different game, which is why the Uconn=UCLA argument is so ridiculous. At 35, I could be the Lebron of the WNBA right now and I haven't played ball in years.

I seriously doubt Skylar can dunk, Candace would tear his ass up dunking it on him he'd be crying when she was done.

That's like saying a 10 year old fball phenom is horrible @ fb bc he couldn't make it in the NFL.

Yes when compared with the men. Thats what we are talking about. Women are good at volleyball and softball. Not basketball.

What on Earth has Skylar Mcbee, a walk-on, done to make you think he could beat Candace Parker... Like seriously. I was kidding about dunking on him all day, but she would beat him lets be honest here.

Umm he is on a division 1 roster and he is a male. Candace parker isnt even a guard she is a freakn post player. She plays with a little tiny basketball. She would get destroyed

Lets think about this. Candace parker could not in a million years stay in front of skylar mcbee. He is a division 1 guard and she is a post playing female. If she played of he would still get to the basket or shoot over her at will. When she has the ball( if they arent playing make it take it) she could never drive by him. She isnt strong enough to back him down. She would be reduced to a contested jump shooter. Not a prayer

I think the claims that a HS team could beat UCONN might be a stretch. Unless, of course, we are talkin ab a D1 factory like Oak Hill, or the other preps.

I'd say there are quite a few high school teams that could do it. Maybe not all, but more than a few.

Agreed, a small percentage nonetheless. Probably the top 30 or so, imo.....I think their(UConn) bball IQ and teamwork would help them, whereas in a 1on1, it wouldn't help.
