1, he's getting his own movie in 2018


2, ....consult every spider-man movie since the moment spider-man 2 ended.

We have a hot Aunt May, no origin story and Marvel's ability to make things awesome vs Sony's ability to make things suck.

I thought it was great. I watched it in 3D/RPX last night, so some of the fight scenes were a bit too much/too hard to follow, but overall it was a great flick. As others have mentioned, Antman and Spiderman stole the show. I liked the ending as well. Make sure you stick around for two teasers.

was let down, story got off track with too much action (the action was great), loved the winter soldier story. even CA 1 was good. Should have kept out the bevvy of Avengers characters. and focused more on WS. id give it a solid B-. mostly because Captain America is best franchise to date.

Just got home. 4/5

I thought it was a little slow at first but really kicked it up a notch in the second act. While the previews made it appear more like an Avengers movie this was still a Cap movie at its core.

Spider-Man, Ant-Man, and Black Panther were all just plain awesome. SM's one liners were perfect and I cannot wait for the BP solo film.

What I really liked most is how it built on all the previous movies to get to this point. The rift between Tony and Steve felt genuine. It made sense. They did everything they could to not fight each other until they had to. It was all earned and took 11 movies to get here.

I really like how they tied Peter explaining the reason for his actions, directly from his classic origin, into the core theme of the movie. His being there made perfect sense.

Also, best line in the movie "Can you move you seat up?"... "No"

Now having heaped praise all over it, I still would rank Winter Soldier above this one. Despite saying this IS a Cap movie, it felt just little bit crowded at times.

Why do so many people gripe about.."slow"? It is precisely this gripe that makes so many bad movies happen. Jeez folks..relax and let the story be told. The big overdone action is going to happen. The calm before the storm always makes the storm stronger. I read you guys comments, and then see the movie and I wonder what in the hell you were talking about. THE ADHD generation kills me.

Really enjoyed it.

It doesn't seem like there's any way a movie with that many characters should work, but that one worked, and worked well.


It was damn good as a "setup" movie too (I know that's not a term). I can't wait for the Black Panther, Spider Man Homecoming, and Ant Man & the Wasp.

Only part of that is my undying crush on Evangeline Lilly.

The only reason I feel it was "slow" at the start is because I already understood the rift and felt like it was kinda dragging to get there. Maybe that's on me. Even with that I still have it a 4/5 (or and adjusted 8/10). I would watch it again.

Oh and Scarlet Witch's accent is just annoying. Quite honestly I cringed every time she had to speak.

I saw somewhere someone with Marvel studios (Feige maybe?) saying there will potentially be 67 characters in those movies. It's gonna be everyone most likely.

I hope so. I think they did a pretty good job of keeping it from seeming too crowded. Throw in the Guardians, Hulk, and Thor, and it will be a little more difficult, but I'm still excited about it.

The Infinity Gauntlet story was mostly just about Thanos but pretty much the entire MCU made an appearance.

They will be crowded movies. Since they are planned as back to back films my guess is some characters will be factors in one but not so much the other.
