i love it when yadi is hitting well. he is by far the best defensive catcher in the game right now. him hitting well is icing on the cake.

Speak for yourself. His reversion to being AAAA journeyman trash was inevitable. Same as Arroyo's return to being a 4th starter quality guy and Bailey being brought back just in time to bury the team were preordained.

If you think this series was bad, wait til they get to San Francisco. Of course, Florida's power arms will probably shut them out at least once this weekend and take the series.

Glad to see the Cardinals on their way to a sweep. It's going to be a long 2 months ,but this series is a step in the right direction for the Cardinals in their quest to win the Central again.

there were some real good calls. i wonder if that was actually oe calling.

Great series. Come to your house kick your ass and sweep you. Funny stuff. Also as bad as it seems our rotation is they are now 49-24 when Carp,Wainright and Garcia start which is the best by any 3 qualifying starters in the bigs. Maybe this series was the wake up call this Cards team needed.

Jonny Gomes summed it up pretty nicely

“What would have happened if he hadn’t flailed his legs?” Gomes said. “We might be looking at Cueto the one with stitches. We might looking at Cueto with a black eye or broken nose. From what was going on at time. . . he was kicking. If you don’t want to get kicked, don’t be within kicking distance.”

Still, the major league is full of chicken****s if they are going to suspend Cueto and nobody from the Cardinals.
