Carroll v. Trump ($88 million judgment for Carroll)

Both sides seem to be lapping this up. We are gonna have to choose between Trump and Biden again aren’t we?

What a circus.

Biden is too old and Trump is abhorrent at every level. Truly remarkable that these are the choices.

My gut tells me it won’t be Biden on the Dem ticket. I’m not sure about Trump yet. I’m leaning towards not him either but it’s like 51/49. I’m 80/20 that Biden won’t be an option for 2024.

Who takes over the Dem ticket do you think ?

Right now I guess I would say Kennedy. I thought Pete back a couple years ago but he seems to have faded back out of the spotlight some. It still wouldn’t totally shock me to see him but I think Dems might consider him too risky for Prez so my guess is he will be a VP first. Who do you think?

Yep. Just think about how sad that is. The greatest country on Earth and the best presidential candidates we can produce are Trump and Biden. Our two party system is such an embarrassment.

RFK, Jr.? Really? I don't see that happening.

How many countries, besides us, think we are the best on earth?

Honestly no one jumps to mind. I think the vast majority of the Dem party realizes that we can't nominate someone to easily identified as a liberal on social issues. Its obvious that the GOP wants to paint the Democrats as just promoting gay rights and reparations and the like. So we need someone ambivalent on that but who can at the same time properly hold themselves out as working towards a stronger middle class even at the expense of the wealthiest.

I’m betting you all don’t get someone like you’re describing. If Biden does run and Reps don’t win then I don’t k it that they’ll ever win again, at least not for a long time. He’s a terrible President so it should, in theory, be an easy win. It won’t be if Trump is nominated though.

So is Kamala and many others. Who do you see? Pete made sense as I think that’s why he essentially stepped aside last time. He was promised a future run but I think VP is it for him, at least for now.

I think the left views their top candidate after Biden as Pete Buttigieg. I think the voters view it as RK Jr.

Just a friendly reminder that's he's been adjudged to be a rapist. And an unapologetic one at that. The evangelicals hero.

Yea---the man that evangelicals in Iowa and around the country---plus the "traditional values" country crowd--professes to support.
You can cut the MAGA hypocrisy with a knife.

And how about Jan. 6. Can you imagine the rural overalls crowd if a group of blacks had similarly attacked the Capitol? Oh, my.
