I answered the question with exactly what I think they were doing with the FISA warrant on Page. That is why we keep asking why is he still on the street!

FISAs are supposed the be vetted so thoroughly they are slam dunks to lead to indictments. Yet here we are a year later and Muellers team is like “Carter who? Never heard of her.”

Could you imagine the state of the country if either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton were to be tried and convicted?

No trolling, but just think of what "high crimes and misdemeanors" would be needed to pull off such a thing. Furthermore, they better have enough evidence to, as he said in the movie Timecop, "plug up the ****ing Potomac."

And that's why you're never going to see any sitting President or high level official get convicted in a court of law unless it's so vile and serious it cannot be dismissed. If it was some lame crap like some want, it will tear the country apart.

Nobody that matters is going to be hung out. Not Trump not Hillary not Obama. Throwing some lower level meat to the wolves to appease them? Comey, Brennan, Clapper, Rice, Holder, etc... maybe. But as you said it would have to be serious offenses. Process crimes won’t cut it. And they shouldn’t. The bar should be high.

The truth one way or the other if propperly fostered in the media could be a unifier. We may be past that now since Trump attacks both truth and the media.

I meant to say former Presidents as well.

Could you imagine the uproar with charging and trying Obama? He'd have to murder children as the halftime act of the Super Bowl in order to get someone to notice.

Trump made a campaign promise to go after Hillary if he was elected. While that makes for a good soundbite, I'd imagine someone got hold of him after the election and explained there truly are those above the law. It's not right, but sometimes necessary for the good of the country as a whole to let sleeping dogs lie.

I will say this, there have been an abnormal amount of folks that have been around and close to the Clintons that have suspiciously died.

The Clintons are dirty. You know it (won't admit it). I know it. Everyone knows it going all the way back to their time in Arkansas. Now, I don't think they ever ordered anyone to be murdered, but I'd be willing to bet there are some folks close to them that would have protected Bill and Hillary at all costs.

One critique of the Page FISA application is that FBI guidelines say applications should include only "accurate and verified information." The actual rule is mostly about making sure agents accurately report what they know, not about corroborating with outside sources.

What he’s dancing around and trying to infer is “credibility”. They gave that up with the circle jerk footnote explanations. They didn’t believe the dossier either. They didn’t know and didn’t care.
