well you guys probably know it all, so you don't need to :p

True, did not think of that. I actually have gotten to where I enjot Boortz. Wish they would give me all 3 of his hours and take away an hour from Rush in my area. Would also like to get Mark Steyn's radio show.

from my experience obama is the one pulling republicans back to the right thus their elected officials are responding. i hang out with repubicans and democrats alike and the democrats are the only ones that have brought up rush's name. he never get's discussed EVER in my republican circles. who would discuss him? how many people can listen to the radio at 1pm even if they wanted to?

Some of it has to do with the perception that Rush is more important than he is. But he is on the radio five days a week and probably has the largest daily audience of any Republican out there. So while I recognize he has no vote on anything, he really is the conscience of a powerful and motivated paet of the party. The people who listen to him vote.

Honestly, that's what I think it's about. Call him out and see how the core of the party reacts. Do they come to his aid, or (as I predict) rightfully distance themselves from him. At which point, they prove he is irrelevant.

And in the meantime when our country and economy need the president to be out in front leading and helping to quell the uncertainty in the stock market and economical issues he and his party are spending their time and valuable resources on Rush and trying to create a further rift in the Republican party. That is irresponsible and childish.

Limbaugh smart? you got to be kidding

The man has made a boat load of money by selling his spiel to the American people. Kind of reminds me of Obama.......you know maybe you're right, he might not be that intelligent.

Seriously, come on man.

it's all about the Fairness Doctrine, or whatever version of it Obama and company are planning to implement. They will continue down this road until Rush is officially cast as an enemy of the state.

Think about this, if Obama and friends succeed in taking down one of the wealthiest and most successful men in this country, they will have no problems at all when it's your turn and you are perceived as being "not with the program".

Let's do a little experiment. Of the conservatives on this board how many can you name that follow RL as any type of leader?

Now, how many can you name that have specifically stated they don't pay attention to him?

Ehh. It's a couple of comments. They're not in the WAR room strategizing on Rush.
