CBJ bringing in PAC-MAN Jones to speak to team

Breaking news....in July, Tiger Woods will address the team concerning the benefits of a healthy marriage

This is all I'm sayin.

Fine to invite in a guy who made some mistakes and fixed his life and everyone knows he fixed his life.

I'm not sure what evidence anybody has that Pac-Man fixed anything, except maybe witnesses to crimes he committed or bets he made or stuff like that.

Questionable choice at best...

This isn't your team. Yours is over at USUFANS so we don't give dayum what you think. Besides, it's little different than the scared straight tactics used by youth counselors and police department gang units. Only difference is they drag the kids to prisons and experience up close and personal what life is like inside if they end up there. Now go away like you promised. Maybe you can't if you one of those rare Vol ticks.

Nah, he don't have to go away. ag4fr is very well voicing the concerns many of us VOLS fans have. So I think you could change the 'we' to 'I' or 'There's a lot' don't give a dayum. ...But there are a lot of us that do care what he brings to the table.

That said, I do understand you're point. However, if even ONE of our players doesn't buy in to the 'scared straight' approach, but instead sees it as only the tired old "do as I say, not what I do" then, well ....

CBJ has a relationship with Adam Jones. Adam Jones has spoken to teams before. Some of you all like after he is done speaking to the kids, they are going to go out and start shooting and raping.

Well, I'll be darn. The ag4fr USU Aggie thing has a Vol straw man.

I don't think CBJ should be getting any heat for this. The NFL does this every single year bc it makes sense. Tank Johnson, Etc. the best advice is comprised of equal parts what TO DO and what NOT TO DO.

Just my opinion, of course I could be wrong. Go Vols!

This is Volnation, bub. If CBJ farted sterilized $500 bills in requested quantities, we got people here who would complain they smell like Lysol instead of Pine Sol. Or that they were a mix of old style and new style bills. The, that though he put on latex gloves to pick them up and hand the bills to requestor, he used hospital issue gloves instead of household gloves. It's Volnation. We got tons of holier than thous here.

Lesson:

You can be a thug, beat women, get arrested and still make millions in the NFL

And if they finally get tired of your ****, then you can tell kids how what you did is wrong while still doing what you did

You can also sit on your fat christian azz and judge others despite your Bible telling you not to.

Come on Count, at least wait until what the players themselves have to say about The Butch's selection before casting stones.

For you self-righteous judgmental holy folks, a few thoughts. Butch knows Pac from a previous time. You never stopped to think that Butch being who he is doesn’t just care about his players while he’s their coach but also after they have departed. Nor that he would try to help them, it seems, despite themselves. Nor did you ever stop to think that maybe Butch asked Pac Man to speak to our boys not just for our players benefit but Pac Man’s as well.

This is his chance to share all the bad choices he made and what it has cost him. Then hopefully when he goes home stop and think if what he told those young men means anything to himself. I was once told by a wise instructor that there are fewer better ways to learn something than when you have to teach it. It forces you to think about it in depth and more seriously than someone yelling at you, preaching to you, or damning you. The Pac may leave campus realizing what a dimwit he’s been and an urgent desire to turn his ship around before it’s a full Costa Concordia disaster.

Perhaps unlike many of you Butch knows that a friend is a friend not only when you’re right but also when you’re in the wrong. In short, how not to be just a fair weather friend. Perhaps unlike many of you, Butch knows how to live the 1st Corinthians chapter13.

Pac Man is an awful human. I think most would agree, even Jesus himself. This is a terrible choice for speaker for obvious reasons AND he is STILL a piece of shiit. It would be totally different if he was a reformed pos, but by all accounts he is still a turd.

Hey, quit judging and talking about this wonderful man that pacman is. I'm starting to think that woodsman has beaten his fair share of strippers and this situation hits too close to home for him.

Ummm. So you speak for Jesus now? OK.
