It has great pageantry. That being said, the Rose Bowl stadium is a dump.

I guarantee you Oregon isn’t crazy about the bracket either. That’s what having Boise and Arizona St seeded so high gets things messed up. I don’t have a problem with Ohio St as much as I do with the automatic seedings instead of by rank. Having said that I think we’re fixing to hit high stride! GBO

We got the absolute worst draw. The path through OSU then Oregon is about as bad as it gets. We're going to have to win it the hard way. No crying. It's put up or shut up time.
We made it to the playoff. 5 years ago we could have never dreamed of where we would be right now. I would love to see us win the whole thing but I'll learn to live with it if we lose in the first round. We've got a solid base underneath our team right now to build off of. Alabama didn't even make it to the playoff. This is going to have implications in recruiting by just being there. This shows that 2022 was not a fluke. We've still got a lot of puzzle pieces we need to get in place. But I'm looking across the college football landscape and I'm not seeing a single team in the country that is a world beater. For a decade or so there we had Alabama head and shoulders above everybody else. They were the gold standard. Then Georgia and Clemson made a move on them. Clemson disappeared in the blink of an eye. Georgia has held on to take the reins as the top team in the SEC right now. But the 2024 Georgia team would have gotten the brakes beat off of them by hour 2022 team. I don't feel like Oregon or Ohio State or any other team in the playoff is Head and shoulders above anybody else. This tournament is literally a crap shoot.

Tennessee should'nt be in from of OSU. OSU beat 2 top 10 teams. Tennessee did not. You can cry all you want. Zero metrics put Tennessee ahead of OSU. I wanted a home game too, but Tennessee cost Tennessee.

No they didn't. OSU lost to Michigan and was not penalized like other teams were penalized.

Texas did not beat a top 10 team. PSU did not beat a top 10 team. Notre Dame did not beat a top 10 team. Being a top 10 team is all relative - some are there when they haven't beat anyone of significance ALL SEASON LONG.

And if Tennessee had played in the championship game and lost they would still be where they are at - maybe even lower - just because they would get penalized for losing that game.

2 top ten teams? Indiana and Penn st? World beaters right there. You can be an Ohio nut hugger all you want. All I'm saying is that committee was a joke and biased as he//. The 12 best teams in the country aren't playing for a championship and no one should be playing at home, not even our beloved vols

While there was plenty of complaints about seeding, I did like how they kicked AL out and made them mad. Then let them back in and got their hopes up. Then crushed them when they kicked them out again. Gave them the old double whammy.

Now go Vols and beat the **** out of the Big 10 elite.

It’s not close between OhSt and Tennessee as they have 2 wins better than anything on our schedule..heck, our 2nd best win is UF

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing. When you get into the details, they are only selling a total of 1000. The remaining 2500 goes for institutional needs.
