The transition from a completely self obsessed person to political person is a theme of our society currently. Saban is morphing his brand.A year ago, I'd be like "no way he should have a vote"....now, after a year watching him on TV, he seems like someone who could be level-headed enough to be fair.
The rules are where the problem is with the byes. Az State, Boise State, and Clemson won and got rewarded. That is a problem. Should they be in yes but to get a bye is one problem. So teams are not rewarded for winning - unreal.
Don't. Lose. To. Crappy. Arkansas.Somebody's gonna get hosed, the question is who?
Still pretty laughable that Ohio only fell 4 spots after losing to a meh Michigan team at home. Pretty sure we fell 3 spots after beating Florida, but I digress.
They’ll change the criteria every year, someone will be the beneficiary with each change. Usually the blue bloods or one of the conferences chosen ones.Calm down. They’ll change the criteria after the season.

Notre Dame beat nobody and made the playoff. Bama had the chance to make a run for it and got destroyed by two bad teams. You don't get to erase those.SMU/Indiana beat no one and made the playoff. It's dumb to even risk a loss on the road with the committee's clear statement that strength of schedule doesn't matter at all.
Perhaps not enough Michigan voters in the AP pollI get that neither Ohio State or Tennessee played so they were never going to flip them. However, why did the AP poll flip Ohio State above us? The only justification I can think iof is that Journalists want to be deemed right so they simply mirrored the CFB committee. It's doesn't make sense.
