Vanderbilt dominated the entire game, start to finish. Sometimes the scoreboard doesn't tell the whole story.Bama almost beat Vandy. I wouldnt say Vandy destroyed them.
I hate Alabama and think Ole Miss should have made it. But playing absolutely no one and getting to be in the playoff because you beat them means we'd be idiots to go to Washington or Nebraska when we can just play G5 schools with no consequences.Notre Dame beat nobody and made the playoff. Bama had the chance to make a run for it and got destroyed by two bad teams. You don't get to erase those.
**** them. Go be a Bama fan elsewhere.
I sort of appreciate it being a road game. Taking a multi year view, that should be the next step in our march back to the top - win a big game on the road. Oklahoma was decent but we’ve still been dropping the at Georgia or at Bama games, and also having head scratcher games against the Hogs or South Carolina or what have you. To date LSU has probably been Heupel’s best road result. Love to change that in a couple weeks at the Shoe. Not worried about them playing on the road?
The rules are where the problem is with the byes. Az State, Boise State, and Clemson won and got rewarded. That is a problem. Should they be in yes but to get a bye is one problem.
Penn State lost, Michigan beat OSU, Texas Lost and they did not get penalized for losing.
ND does not play in a conference beat no ranked team and are overrated and hosting a game.
The committee is talking SOS vs win lost and still has not mentioned ND.
I hate Ohio State , but I can't understand the thinking that we got robbed having to go there. They beat two playoff teams. They lost to a trash team as did we but theirs was at home. I truly don't have a gripe here. I wanted badly to host, but you play the hand your dealt. I'll be in the minority and say I Don't think the entire universe is out to get Tennessee.
When is last time we won a road night game? Serious question. I don’t know. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was 20 years ago. And at night it’s going to be even colder. Not sure that California kid Nico will even be able to feel the ball. How about we play the game first and then decide what to pencil in?
It’s honestly a coin flip. I do think their loss at home to meatchicken was worse than our loss in Hawg City. I also thought recency bias would be in our favor.I hate Ohio State , but I can't understand the thinking that we got robbed having to go there. They beat two playoff teams. Columbus usually isn't much colder than Knoxville. Where did this meme come from? When is last time we won a road night game? Serious question. I don’t know.
