CFP Bracket Reveal 12est ESPN

Bama almost beat Vandy. I wouldnt say Vandy destroyed them.
Vanderbilt dominated the entire game, start to finish. Sometimes the scoreboard doesn't tell the whole story.

And in the end, it doesn't matter. They lost 3 games, two to horrific teams. If they wanted to actually be in they should've taken care of business. If they had been left out because they lost to good teams, I'd be willing to listen. But they didn't.

Notre Dame beat nobody and made the playoff. Bama had the chance to make a run for it and got destroyed by two bad teams. You don't get to erase those.

**** them. Go be a Bama fan elsewhere.
I hate Alabama and think Ole Miss should have made it. But playing absolutely no one and getting to be in the playoff because you beat them means we'd be idiots to go to Washington or Nebraska when we can just play G5 schools with no consequences.

Not worried about them playing on the road?
I sort of appreciate it being a road game. Taking a multi year view, that should be the next step in our march back to the top - win a big game on the road. Oklahoma was decent but we’ve still been dropping the at Georgia or at Bama games, and also having head scratcher games against the Hogs or South Carolina or what have you. To date LSU has probably been Heupel’s best road result. Love to change that in a couple weeks at the Shoe.

Great and we have to play at night there. Might as well go ahead and pencil in a loss. This is such an f’n joke.

The rules are where the problem is with the byes. Az State, Boise State, and Clemson won and got rewarded. That is a problem. Should they be in yes but to get a bye is one problem.
Penn State lost, Michigan beat OSU, Texas Lost and they did not get penalized for losing.
ND does not play in a conference beat no ranked team and are overrated and hosting a game.
The committee is talking SOS vs win lost and still has not mentioned ND.

All I know is there is much gnashing of the teeth on the Bammer boards which makes me happy. They can’t correlate 2 ugly losses to mediocre teams as the reason they are not in the playoff, which is hysterical.

Not gonna complain about Tennessee getting the worst draw out of ND, tOSU, Texas, and PSU when they're all about equal...somebody had to draw the short stick...but WTH is up with the rest of this bracket? It makes no sense. Oregon is the 1 seed, and they got a much tougher draw than UGA, ASU, and Boise St. SMU beat 0 ranked teams and lost to the only decent teams they played, and they're in over South Carolina and Bama? The message is to play the weakest schedule possible, and the committee will reward you.

One of them wasn't even just a loss, it was a slaughter.

I hate Ohio State , but I can't understand the thinking that we got robbed having to go there. They beat two playoff teams. They lost to a trash team as did we but theirs was at home. I truly don't have a gripe here. I wanted badly to host, but you play the hand your dealt. I'll be in the minority and say I Don't think the entire universe is out to get Tennessee.

We were penalized for winning over Florida at home.

How about we play the game first and then decide what to pencil in?
When is last time we won a road night game? Serious question. I don’t know. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was 20 years ago. And at night it’s going to be even colder. Not sure that California kid Nico will even be able to feel the ball.

It’s honestly a coin flip. I do think their loss at home to meatchicken was worse than our loss in Hawg City. I also thought recency bias would be in our favor.

Would have loved to be at home, but I’m thrilled we are in. If we hadn’t completely lost focus and lost at Arkansas, we probably would have been at home. But we didn’t and here we are.

A lot of us early in the season and preseason just wanted to make the playoffs. Now we are in and we are in a good position to win, survive, and advance. You can’t ask for much more than that. Trust that Heupel and Co. will have this team ready and the sky is the limit.

Columbus usually isn't much colder than Knoxville. Where did this meme come from?
