CFP First Round: #10 Indiana @ #7 Notre Dame (8PM ABC/ESPN)

Frustrated that OSUs “top 10 win” against this team is the separator for them hosting and not us.
Well when Michigan’s AD is the one helping to choose spots what do you expect? A win against Michigan is a good thing, a loss isn’t detrimental.

I don’t know how ND managed to lose to Nothern Illinois. They actually look like a good ball team. Then again, I don’t know how we looked as inept as we did against Arkansas.
Arkansas still has some NFL talent on their team. NIU isn’t nearly the talent

They also beat Penn St, who's best win is..........Illinois.
We’ll really see tomorrow. Us and OSU are basically the same on the stat sheet for offense and defense rankings, but I would argue we played much tougher competition. Tomorrow should be telling if I’m right or just biased thinking the SEC is better.

Top to bottom there is no argument, the SEC is better. Penn state and Ohio State though, they’re good teams. They deserve to be in. Indiana is well coached but they just don’t have the speed to compete at this level.

I'm finding this game boring. Pace of play is choppy, no passing game by either team, long commercial breaks, etc. One big run is pretty much the only interesting thing that's happened.

Right, but talent-wise OSU is clearly better than us on paper, but at the same time nationally, we are about equal in most offense and defense rankings. What does that mean?

How would OSU do with our schedule this year with that roster? Would they be 10-2 with our SEC schedule? I don’t know, but I believe they would do worse.

They’re not nearly as deep along the LOS as we are.

To me it means there’s not a huge difference in the Top 10 recruiting rankings. If you’re recruiting anywhere in between that, you’re gonna be a great team with the right coach.

Indiana about to get exposed and make Notre Dame look better than they are.
