Wondered what the over and under was for the mentioning of Tennessee during this game. Herbie and D**k weed going overboard with Tennessee game. Someone on the board will be mentioned no more after last week. I will 40 more times after this game and before next season.Wow. Oregon doing their best to make everyone forget about the Tennessee game.
The over /under was infinity. He's almost there already. Still cranking it out.Wondered what the over and under was for the mentioning of Tennessee during this game. We lost twice, including once to a 6-6 team. We really struggled for long stretches in several games we won. We benefited from playing 6 of the worst 7 teams in the SEC.
We should have been in based on our record, but if we played every single playoff team in a home, neutral, and road game, I doubt we win 10 of the 33 games, and we likely win none of the 11 on the road.
Some people asked why we were so upset with having to go to Ohio to play instead of Happy Valley or hosting at Neyland. Those people were clueless.I think we could have beaten about 2/3 of the 12 teams. Look at vaunted Oregon. They are doing no better than we did, worse actually, and they are in far better circumstances, a neutral field and not in the cold (tho less likely to affect the ducks). AND we had a lot of key players out.
We got the crappiest draw out there against an OSU team that has a loaded roster and was motivated to keep their coach.
I dont think we were ready to win it all but with a different draw, we absolutely would have gone deeper, quite possibly to the semis.
Texas and Oregon both got the royalty treatment with their weak schedules this season.I hate Ohio state but I cannot root for Texas. The way our conference has kind of just kissed their behinds irks me.
