Sort of Devils advocate. Yes we start higher and played a great opponent so our strength of schedule improves then takes a huge hit with the next 3. So teams that play in conference championship games will inherit good opponents to climb their SOS. I still think we need loads of help.
No way Clemson makes the playoff after getting skull dragged by a crappy NDIf Nd goes on to finish 9-3 and Clemson finishes 12-1 ACC champ, they will be near top 4-6 range. Clemson will get the same bias that we hate OSU and Michigan for when it comes to “schedule strength”…..
Should OSU drop out of top 4 after today? Prolly. Will they? No
No way they get the 4 spot after the a** whoopin they just took. They done.Clemson losing would help but I don't think it matters. Clemson at 12-1 or 13-0 means nothing in my mind. 13-0 and they are likely the 3 spot... 12-1 and they are likely the 4th spot.
At end of the day, we need 13-0 UGA which means they win in Atlanta. Doesn't matter who comes out of the West.
Just that they are undefeated and the committee took a lot of heat for having them so low. Not saying it will happen.
Right now I’m seeing
1 UGA
2 OSU
3 MICH
4 TN
5 TCU
