CFP Show implies Ohio State to Orange

I think we need to be worried. The talking heads on SEC channel predicted on Saturday night that bama would be ahead of us in CFP. If we get shafted to Cotton bowl, it won't surprise me.

Just what I heard it’s a outside chance. Would be fine with me plan a trip to universal studios and watch the Vols in Orlando
We are in a New Years six. Whoever you heard that from is wrong. We are guaranteed a New Years six, no matter what happens. We are not going to be in the Citrus

I heard we might get the Citrus bowl too

Don't joke... because it could happen per the scenarios mentioned in this thread. OSU gets the Orange Bowl "to mix things up," LSU shocks Ga and gets the Sugar Bowl as the SEC Champ, Alabama gets dropped to the Cotton, and TN drops to the Citrus Bowl. I will march in the streets like it's Jan. 6th.

We better hope we get the Orange bowl. No telling when we will have this opportunity again. That's why the uscjr game hurts so much.

Was watching the College Football playoff reveal, and one of the talking heads said that because Ohio State has been there so much in recent history, the Rose Bowl would take Penn State instead. They then explain that would leave Ohio State as the highest ranked Big Ten or SEC team left which would send them to the Orange. Bama, as the highest ranked SEC team, would go to the Sugar. That would leave UT as the last man standing and go to the Cotton against a G5 team. Can they even do that?? I thought there were rules about the Rose Bowl having to select the highest rated Big Ten team.
I don't see the orange bowl taking Ohio State over Tennessee even then because of the marketing potential of an all orange orange bowl.

I also don't think OSU would be ok with that because there's the mythos of going to Pasadena in the Big 10.

It’s all about positioning right now for Alabama and Ohio state. If Alabama were 7 right now, with a USC and TCU loss, Alabama couldn’t make the playoffs at 7, they can at 6! It’s the committees last ditch effort to get Alabama in the playoffs! Now let’s say USC and TCU win. The committee may put Tennessee at 6 in the final rankings ahead of Alabama. Absolutely a possibility

Alabama has zero shot. TCU is getting in regardless. They are undefeated currently. If USC loses, OSU gets in. Bama has legit no chance.

Citrus wouldn’t be bad man considering that embarassing loss to South Carolina we haven’t been to a good bowl like the Citrus in years. We shouldn’t complain about that

I’d be very scared if I were TCU. This committee loves them some Alabama
