I understand the letdown we are all feeling, but even if it is only the Cotton Bowl, that is actually better than most people predicted. The Vols are ahead of schedule after this season, and I have to admit that this season was the best in a long time.

Go Vols!

Yea, I agree were going to get screwed, did anyone else notice Herbstreit didnt even comment on us? and I think they talked less about us than they did any other team as they were unveiling, maybe its just me but it seems like they are already just dismissing us. bastards.

Just like you said, it is a no win situation. Similar to last year with Purdue. If they aren't going to match the Vols up with a legit power 5 conference opponent, the game is meaningless.

It could be Michigan or TCU LSU, Bama and Georgia if we have total chaos this weekend. Them Yankees and New York medias heads would explode if this happens.

Read my lips… “they won’t get in even if they win” they have 3 losses it doesn’t matter if they win the SEC. The sec champion doesn’t have some god given right to make the playoffs. They have 3 losses they are done, we have a better shot at getting in then lsu

I’m just going on what I heard on Finebaum the other day and that Greg Sankey would push for LSU to get in if they beat Georgia. Btw I don’t think they will beat Georgia

If LSU beats UGA, they end up in the Cotton Bowl. If OSU gets the Orange Bowl and Bama gets the Sugar Bowl... that leaves us with the Citrus Bowl against 8-4 Illinois/Perdue. It would be an utterly disappointing way to end the season.
