Just like you said, it is a no win situation. Similar to last year with Purdue. If they aren't going to match the Vols up with a legit power 5 conference opponent, the game is meaningless. When I was in HS I played basketball in a pretty good rec league...one of the coaches was also coaching a junior high girls' team (9th graders) that was more like an AAU team - they were good. He used to make me (and several others) scrimmage against them and it was always a no-win situation. If I block the shot so what - it's a 9th grade girl but if she scored on me, I never heard the end of it (she later played college ball but that's a different story) ....
Anyway, that's how I feel about playing a group of 5 team. There is nothing for us to gain and the group of 5 team is playing to say the beat an SEC team...I hope we get a better deal. North Carolina or Clemson
Read my lips… “they won’t get in even if they win” they have 3 losses it doesn’t matter if they win the SEC. The sec champion doesn’t have some god given right to make the playoffs. They have 3 losses they are done, we have a better shot at getting in then lsuThey would be SEC champions dude they will let them in when has the SEC champ ever been left out
I’m just going on what I heard on Finebaum the other day and that Greg Sankey would push for LSU to get in if they beat Georgia. Btw I don’t think they will beat GeorgiaRead my lips… “they won’t get in even if they win” they have 3 losses it doesn’t matter if they win the SEC. I would bet everything under my name, and my left nut that they won’t make it. Also some advice, don’t ever listen to what dumbasses on finebaum sayI’m just going on what I heard on Finebaum the other day and that Greg Sankey would push for LSU to get in if they beat Georgia.
