yet you keep replying....hmm.......in accordance with your new avatar, you should change your sig for your avatar (like where mine says "keeping VN honest...") to "will always have the last word, whether i understand what i'm responding to or not".:thumbsup:Not true! Just stuff I don't particularly care about. k:
Oh and I see you are trying to be Finevol yet again. Good job Jake!!!
as much as i hate to admit it, you may be right. the steelers are getting older and at some point, there's going to be some major re shuffling on the defense and the O line. we have our work cut out for us if we're going to stay at the top.lol:
Yep. I expect the Browns to be a contender for the AFC North next season.
They have a young, versatile offense and a decent D. The sky's the limit for the Dog Pound
the falcons are a mess in general. i don't know that they're going to get a HC that they want, and it's looking like they are really close to just starting over completely. whoever takes over down there, it's going to be a project for the HC and the personnel already on hand. they have some good players, but they've lost their best players of late...Kearny was a big loss, and we all know about Vick. the best player on that team may be the TE. the secondary isn't bad, but i'm not convinced they have the "team" concept, esp #21.
looking at it now, all three teams in the south are better than the falcons if for no other reason, stability in the front office.
who are you referring to specifically?
they aren't going to do anything with anderson. i hope they do. but even they'r not that dumb.if the browns are serious about trading Derek Anderson to make room for the Quinn era, there is no way they will be contenders for the North next season. I say that as a Quinn hater I know, but there is no way he can produce the same results.

It was interesting that Cleveland Browns coach Romeo Crennel said this week that the team would be willing to listen to trade offers for quarterback Derek Anderson.
Expect Crennel to get plenty. Teams that will be looking for quarterbacks include Miami, Kansas City, Baltimore, Carolina, Atlanta, Minnesota, Chicago and San Francisco. Anderson, a restricted free agent, has to be on the wish list of many teams after a breakout season for the Browns, who nearly made the playoffs.
Anderson should remain on the Browns' wish list, but Crennel's proclamation means the team likely is leaning toward going with Brady Quinn, who was drafted in the first round last year. Quinn is a fine prospect, but Anderson has shown he can lead the team. The Browns should stick with him.

sure, that was it. you decided. ok. thanks for responding.....again.....to something you could care less about...supposedly.:wink2:Well I will always have the last word, that is true, but the understand or not is false, because I understood what you said, I just decided to end the crap route you were going on to end it with a Brady era. :clapping: Now if you want to keep arguing with me, you might end up where volsgal wants to. lol:
And by the way, you can never read enough volwindy posts!!
GB's secondary is definitely better than the giants secndary, but they've given up big plays in the past as well. the running games....both can do it, i give the edge to the pack as well though. home feild, weather....blah, blah, blah.Wow there's no way I could read every post (plus I skipped over certain ones, I think we all know who's), but this comes down to a few select pints to me. I think GB's corners will shut down the Giant's WR's.. they're just too good. Also, I don't see the Giants having much of a pass rush in this game. Last, I think GB has the edge in rushing, and IMO that's what this game is going to come down to.

one thing i agree with, if GB's pass rush is a factor, that's real bad for the Giants.
